Opening Old Netscape Mail files

How can I? I have the .SNMs, but when I download Netscape 4.7 and 4.8 they crash on messenger startup! Also "Mail Navigator" which google brought up doesn't work. The files are from ~1999. Thanks for the help.

    Try using Outlook Express and importing the files, then exporting those files to whatever you need. Yes, I am serious about using Outlook Express.

    Yeah, OE oddly supported a lot of formats Outlook doesn't. It may be called 'Microsoft Mail' now.

    Thunderbird may do the trick as well.

    It's "Windows Mail" in vista and a separate download called "Windows Live Mail" or something in 7. I don't know if they support importing all the same formats, though.

    Outlook Express did it. Wow. That is great! Thanks. All my searching and it's sitting right on my desktop.
