Tonight was an opening performance of a show, and people were going "toi toi toi!" for luck. A couple of the younger people asked what that meant and a bunch of people offered completely false explanations. After giving a real explanation we got on the subject of stage superstitions. There are all sorts of things that you are never supposed to do on stage, and we had a good laugh at some of the more ridiculous ones. I loved the one about how your set will fall over if you wear peacock feathers on stage.

    Story of impact:

I understand what god is now. god is just the name given to all-encompassing, unconditional love. for seeing the beauty in existence. strip away all the bullshit and there's something wonderfully divine inherent to everthing. it's incredible to be able live and love and feel for your fellow man. I feel so sorry for all the selfish people and the misanthropists if denying this feeling is what it takes to get that way.

maybe I'm going nuts or this is just the aftermath of bein sick with depression or stress and insomnia are making me delusional, but my god what does it matter

as I type this I'm at the lake watching the sunrise, and it is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen
