I have not so great speakers where the sub puts out a hideous amount of bass, and the bass volume knob doesn't cut the boomy frequencies. What I'm looking for is a software graphic EQ for the output of my soundcard. Does Windows already have this? I want to be able to roll some of those lower frequencies off so that it applies to everything coming out of my computer.
Thanks in advance, and if it matters, I'm using an M-Audio Delta Audiophile 24/96.
Usually there's some sort of equalizer in the mixer that comes with the drivers. If the sound card manufacturer doesn't provide them then you could also try the website of the audio chipset manufacturer, if you know what the soundcard uses.
