    According to Gamespy

"BioWare has not dated Overlord other than to say "coming soon," but a price has been set at 560 Microsoft Points/BioWare Points or $7."
In the biggest DLC pack yet to launch for Mass Effect 2, Overlord adds five new planets to the Galactic Map with extensive maps for gamers to explore. No new companions will be added, but Shepard will still have plenty to keep him busy as he battles to protect the galaxy from a virtual intelligence run amok.

When sent to investigate a Cerberus research base that's mysteriously gone silent, Shepard arrives to find Geth overrunning the base. The sole survivor, Chief Scientist Archer, paints a dire picture: an experiment to fuse a human volunteer with a virtual intelligence created a dangerous hybrid "VI overlord." The rampaging VI has already attacked three other Cerberus bases, controlling any technology it finds in an attempt to break free -- and unleashing Geth across the planet. Unless Shepard can infiltrate the VI's fortress and shut it down, this homicidal intelligence will beam itself-off planet and wreak havoc on other systems. The action unfolds over five new level areas, with two new achievements.

So Luna mission from ME1 given ME2 treatment?

One of these days I need to finish my renegade playthrough. I've already beaten it twice as Paragon (second time was on Insanity, god that sucked as Vanguard), so it's hard to work up the motivation now :P Maybe when the new DLC comes out (I also need to play the Hammerhead stuff sometime, though at least I did the Kasumi stuff)

So I finally got around to trying out the Hammerhead and Kasumi bidness.

They were both pretty fun. Kasumi's teleport thing is powerful as fuck and the Flashbang is fun, though not so useful on my Infiltrator.

I don't know if Kasumi was worth $7 by itself, but if I consider the fact that I have only payed $7 so far and have gotten all of the gameplay-related DLC, that's a pretty good deal. Also this is just one of those games where I don't mind paying them more money for things because goddamn I love this game like a child.

Also I'm now playing an Infiltrator after I convinced myself not to play through as a Vanguard again.

It is pretty fun. Not as much fun as a Vanguard but alright. Slo-mo headshots are always good times.

Nah I probably should, I have been switching it up a bit, at least moreso than I did last game.

Also that SMG is so sexy. I mean so much that I almost feel cheap using it, like I paid money for a gun that is way better than all the other SMGs. It's like Dragon Age all over again in that regard.

To be clear I don't actually mind its sexiness.

But switching up my characters has been interesting.

Like I took Grunt to Archangel's recruitment mission and there was a short but neat exchange with him and the Blood Pack Krogan leader guy.

    So I'll make it Grunt.

They can do like that Jim Morrison movie or documentary or whatever from a few years back, and have different actors playing Shepard in every scene.

I think that if this happens

And this is a big 'if' now, I really don't think this will ever get anywhere close to actually being made

it probably won't have anything to do with Shepard, and will instead be set elsewhere in the mass effect universe. There's plenty of material to work with, with the added bonus of not having to stick to a pre-existing storyline
