I also had forgotten that I havn't cleaned out my logs folder in ages. (Looks like something around 4,000 logs.) This'll take a while to process. Will post a link when it gets done.
EDIT: Hoo boy, looks like the logs go back to June of last year. Yeah, this'll be a real Hinkie.

I wonder how much of an effort it is to replace those ding sounds. If it involves unpacking and then repacking a gcf (gfc?) file then I can't be bothered. But if it's a more straightforward substitution I might consider replacing it with a Vinnie Paz brrat.
No, all you do is put a wav file in a specific folder and set a variable in game.
sv_pure can mess with it though. You have to bring up the console and type 'play mysound.wav' upon first starting up the game, or else it won't work on a lot of servers. Once the file gets cached in memory however, it works fine.

I idled last night and ended up with 12 items.
That's...on par with how many I used to get from idling.
Right. They smoothed the drop rate so that you really only have a variation around certain "drop points". As in, you'll get an item basically every time you'd get an item on average.
However, there's a limit to how many hours in a week you can get items for. Idle beyond that point, and you get nothing.

Hmm.. there's chatter of people getting drops again after they hit a large patch (10+ hours) of no drops. So either the drop window for the week has reset, or something isn't working according to Valve's plan.

I'm pretty much going insane, dealing with a ton of little fuckering problems, but it looks like I have it ready for the test. I'll take some screens and upload them tomorrow sometime, hopefully before the test. But if anyone wants to download it and take a run through that would be cool.
It's only the first point Blu attacks right now, with some thrown run up from Red to balance it a bit. Only one CP so far. It's the first of the beginnings of a multistage CP map.
As per usual, I put way too much time into an mostly untested area, but hopefully I learned from my last map.

I sort by class when I go to craft. Outside of that I just let it build up however. It's not like I need to look at it that often.
The hand full of times I've tried organizing it, it ended up being a pain in the ass trying to find matches for my gear without ruining the tidiness.

I like it, Kupi, but seems a bit too structured for PA. We don't do structured around here.
