Wow. I'm totally happy and exhausted. I've been to a lot of game conventions demoing and selling my games, and from the Enforcers (dude brought be water and gave me lip balm! He saved my life!) to the layout of the vendor's hall, this con was great.
But the best part was that I was obligated to run Shock: for people several times a day. The raw enthusiasm and love for play made every moment of the games fantastic. I mean, you guys were coming up to our booth at the Compleat Strategist and telling me about games you've designed yourself, games you've loved in the past, games you wish you could play. And then I was contractually obligated to play with you.
You're a fantastic lot, and I'm happy to be one of your number.
