What are the most memorable game scenes/moments you guys can remember. Here are a couple of mine:
1. GRAW - [spoiler:effdb203d8]Second level walking up to the embassy and BOOM! Shit is destroyed and I almost crapped my pants.[/spoiler:effdb203d8]
2. 9/9/99 - Sega Dreamcast launch day. Me and my bro come home with NFL2K and our minds get blown by the dimples on the ball.
3. PSP - I have to admit the first time I saw Tiger Woods on PSP I was absolutely blown away. I bought one a week later..... then traded it in 2 months after that.
4. Madden - Me and my bro were playing Madden 01 on N64. I was down 4 he had the ball and was trying to run the score up on me with 15 secs to go. I pick it off and get tackled. I then toss a hail mary, catch it and I'm running down the sideline, but he tackles me on the 5. FUMBLE! Another one of my guys comes from behind and scoops it. I win. He was pissed!
5. Ken Griffey Jr Baseball - I am playing a 7 Game World Series against my older step brother who was 16 and I was 13 (AKA he could beat the shit out of me and he has a temper). I was up 3-2 in the series and he keeps reminding me that how bad I will be beat if I win. So I kick his ass and take my beating laughing the whole time. Pure sweetness.
EDIT: Added spoiler to GRAW moment.

As for me, Resident Evil 4
[spoiler:8a1286c70e]The fight with Rasputin in RE4. Hahaha I shot you into two pieces with my shotgun oh god why are you still moving. Also: Everything with Krauser.[/spoiler:8a1286c70e]
The soldier turned and looked at me, and barked out that a flashlight was on and to open fire. Blew my fucking mind. I hadn't seen something like that in a FPS before.
Also my first real game on Red Orchestra. I was playing AT as a Russian on one of the big ole tank maps. Me and another guy head into this barn to do some spotting and protect the capture point. I hear this tank rolling up after a few minutes of waiting, and I tell the guy to keep his eyes out while I get up there and set up my recoilless rifle. Before he can finish saying okay on his mic, this huge blast comes from behind me as I'm heading up the steps and this spray of pink mist floats in the air. I turn behind me and my spotter had been shattered by a tank shell and his body looked more like ground beef than a Russian rifleman. I knew I was playing a game striving for realism at that point.
Origin is the exact same as my Steam, in case you're needing a Support or Assault in BF3.
Eternal Darkness - [spoiler:904823ef60]OMG BATHTUB![/spoiler:904823ef60]
Eh? Explanation? YouTube link?

Memorable was the intro to Silent Cartographer in Halo. I was like 'fuck yeah' the whole way down.
MGS3 - [spoiler:ae34282bb1]When you shoot The Boss.[/spoiler:ae34282bb1]
SotC - [spoiler:ae34282bb1]The whole ending, mainly the part when you regain control of your character trying to get away from the whirlwind. [/spoiler:ae34282bb1]
RE4 - [spoiler:ae34282bb1]Your helicopter buddy comes in and rips everything to shreds[/spoiler:ae34282bb1]
I don't care what anyone says about WW, I had a blast with that game.
That was heartpounding fuckawesome right there.
This needs some more explanation for anyone who did not play ED and thinks, "So what?"
[spoiler:718e5567f7]When exploring the mansion, examining items almost always yields nothing but some text, or the acquisition of the item. With the ambient sounds rolling, the player gets lured into casually examining everything, reading some text, then moving on. The bath tub is the only moment like what you see in the YouTube video, and it comes about midway through, IIRC. The player in the YouTube video marches right into it and you can feel it coming. During the natural rhythm of a first playthrough, it basically makes you shit in your pants. Twice.[/spoiler:718e5567f7]

Super Mario Bros 3
[spoiler:44a03d7ce1]Back in the days we didn't have to listen to long boring conversations before battling it out with the end baddie. Oh no, you just walk a room and hey, there's Bowser falling down from the top of the screen and it's on, right that moment. Such a great moment, we hadn't seen Bowser in a game since SMB1 and he looked totally badass.[/spoiler:44a03d7ce1]
Controller hit wall afterwards.
Wind Waker:
[spoiler:2a9247e661]OMG HYRULE CASTLE FROZEN IN TIME [/spoiler:2a9247e661]
Twilight Princess:
[spoiler:2a9247e661]HOLY FUCKING SHIT IT *IS* THE TEMPLE OF TIME (though sadly this wasn't really expanded on)[/spoiler:2a9247e661]
Ocarina of Time:
[spoiler:2a9247e661]Two parts of the Forest Temple: When you first fight a Stalfos (HOLY SHIT IM HAVING A REAL 3-D SWORDFIGHT OMG) and when you run into that twisted hallway (HOLY SHIT I'M IN A REAL 3-D WORLD AND IT'S LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF A TRIPPY FANTASY BOOK). Also, the fight with Dark Link. Those three moments are actually my favorite three moments in all of gaming, because they felt so new and amazing at the time.[/spoiler:2a9247e661]
FF4:
[spoiler:2a9247e661]The opening was awesome and cinematic unlike anything that had come before it. Also, when you get to go to the fucking moon.[/spoiler:2a9247e661]
FF6:
[spoiler:2a9247e661]The world is destroyed. The aftermath, where you're stranded on an island as Celes with a dying Cid. So depressing, so unlike anything in a game before[/spoiler:2a9247e661]
FF7:
[spoiler:2a9247e661]The entire opening sequence. I hadn't seen anything like it, visually. The techy anime style was something new to videogames at the time. And you're a freaking terrorist! Moral ambiguity! Possibly the most awesome and impressive opening stretch of an RPG in history.[/spoiler:2a9247e661]
FF10:
[spoiler:2a9247e661]When you find out Yuna is going to be sacrificed, and when you find out Tidus is a dream. I don't understand the hate this game gets, the plot was seriously awesome.[/spoiler:2a9247e661]
FF12:
[spoiler:2a9247e661]The Demon Wall fight. It was at this point that I realized how fucked up and tradition-bound RPG gameplay had become, and how liberating FF12's gameplay is.[/spoiler:2a9247e661]
Metroid Prime:
[spoiler:2a9247e661]When you first encounter the space pirates. That was proof of the game's concept to me, when the gameplay really takes off.[/spoiler:2a9247e661]
Shadow of the Colossus:
[spoiler:2a9247e661]Colossi 5, 13 and 16 just for sheer "holy SHIT"ness[/spoiler:2a9247e661]
Xenogears:
[spoiler:2a9247e661]Let me say that I no longer hold this game in that high esteem (because it's kind of unoriginal), but it did have some pretty awesome twists, like finding out about Solaris[/spoiler:2a9247e661]
Chrono Trigger:
[spoiler:2a9247e661]When you first get to the ruined future. Trippy and epic in a way that I have yet to see in another game.[/spoiler:2a9247e661]
Chrono Cross:
[spoiler:2a9247e661]The Dead Sea. One of the coolest-looking videogame levels ever.[/spoiler:2a9247e661]
Ocarina of Time, the absolute FINAL fight with Ganondorf as Ganon. Remember how all the bosses had titles, "Infernal Lava Dragon Volvagia"? "Parasitic Armored Arachnid Ghoma"? Stuff like that? Well...what made Ganons intro so impressive.
That motherfucker needed no intro.
[spoiler:308bb1c7f7]Stabbing ganon in the head, and then the credits afterwards. that was an awesome song following an awesome fight.[/spoiler:308bb1c7f7]
Halo: Combat Evolved
The Maw
FF7: Aeris dies.
Zelda TP: [spoiler:4341bd90be]The horseback fight where you are going after the kid they nabbed. Also, the final battle where Link and Ganondorf lock swords. THat was probably the most memorable moment in any game ever for me.[/spoiler:4341bd90be]
Wiisports: The first time I played tennis.
Half-Life 2: The line "We don't go to Ravenholm" and consequently the Ravenholm level. Also fighting a whole shitton of the big tall walker things (stalkers?) as the building you are in is being destroyed.
Guitar Hero: beating the game on expert.
Call of Duty: everything about the game.
Last level in the original Halo
[spoiler:0c2cb6d0ff]The race against the clock! So much havok[/spoiler:0c2cb6d0ff]
First time playing Golden Eye on N64
[spoiler:0c2cb6d0ff]My first FPS ever. 4 player Facilities with lots of proxy mines? Yes fucking please.[/spoiler:0c2cb6d0ff]
Final Fantasy 7
[spoiler:0c2cb6d0ff]Lots of shit. Only thing I can really remember was the casino place. And maybe the cross-dressing scene. I still fucking cry just from the music to Aeris' death scene.[/spoiler:0c2cb6d0ff]
Gears of War
[spoiler:0c2cb6d0ff]The big guy that you have to get outside. And the whole light thing. Sooooooo crazy.[/spoiler:0c2cb6d0ff]
Postal 2
[spoiler:0c2cb6d0ff]Realising the cops would puke if I pissed on their face[/spoiler:0c2cb6d0ff]
Call of Duty
[spoiler:0c2cb6d0ff]Car Scene Chaos![/spoiler:0c2cb6d0ff]
Half Life 2 - Entire game is a fucking rollercoaster.
[spoiler:e7c08a744d]I nearly cried after I beat Krauser, then found out hitting him with your knife does about 10 times more damage than normal.[/spoiler:e7c08a744d]
The other is a team game of SSB. I was playing as Pikachu with my friend as Falcon against two friends playing as Donkey Kong and another Falcon on Hyrule Castle. I was on the right side fighting it out with Donkey Kong while my friend was battling the other Falcon when he yelled out for help. I glanced over and saw him in the middle of the stage in the dazed state after the shield is broken with the other Falcon winding up to punch his ass out of the stage. I popped up quick and chucked a capsule, knocking the other Falcon back, then ran over and kept both Falcon and Donkey Kong at bay as they came at me from both sides. The other bit of awesomeness from that match was when we were on opposite sides of the stage, having our own little one on one matches. I managed to get three green turtle shells and was mercilessly beaning Donkey Kong with them. My friend notices and said something about how he wished he had a turtle shell to play with, so I popped up and tossed one over and it slid to a stop right behind him, just in time for him to use it against the other Falcon as he tried to make it back on land.
All of it.
But heres a select few.
[spoiler:d9800293a7] Remember that part where you save after sleeping in the prison cell? Turn off the machine, and then come back to it, your game loads into some COMPLETELY DIFFRENT game entirely, where you're a vampire like creature, and you're hacking up people. I was playing this thinking it was awesome, but at the same time anxious about where the fuck my MGS3 save was. Then the game ends, and snake wakes up. Looking just as relieved as i was to be back in "reality".
Genius.[/spoiler:d9800293a7]
[spoiler:d9800293a7] The box speech over Codec. [/spoiler:d9800293a7]

God-damn this game is awesome.
Ace Combat 4 - the intro to the final mission, especially the music
Freedom Fighters - pretty much any time you start fighting and "Battle For Freedom" kicks in on the soundtrack, particularly on the final level
Gitaroo Man - "BECAUSE I AM GITAROO MAN!!1!!!1!!1!OMG!1!!" etc., etc. And the final battle. Absolute fucking genius, sends a shiver down my spine every time I play it
Jet Set Radio Future - the attract sequence
Otogi 2 - the battle against [spoiler:9d7ff82d59]Seimei.[/spoiler:9d7ff82d59] No other game has basically outdone every single wire-fu aerial combat film ever made in one single fight. I had to try it maybe thirty times before I could take her with Raiko and I loved every single one
Panzer Dragoon Orta - the ending, particularly the little post-credits section... that one made me tear up
Rez - the final level. The music, the graphic design, the textual interludes, the themes of evolution and transcendence... magical
SSX 3 - starting a run from the top of the third peak for the first time
The Suffering - the boss fights against Horace and Hermes - not so much the gameplay, but their monologues while you fight - gloriously creepy
Read my book. (It has a robot in it.)
The Earthworm Jim ending.
Flying for the first time in Super Mario 64. In fact, experiencing just about anything in that game for the first time, especially analogue control.
Popping an end of level animal cage in Sonic The Hedgehog.
Chainsawing in Gears of War. Still fucking awesome every single time.
Like Wezoin said, first fatality you ever saw in Mortal Kombat.
First time you met the Cyberdemon in DOOM.

Dual RCP90s in Goldeneye.
Banjo Kazooie; JIIINJOOO!
[spoiler:9dc349c2ac] I killed the end by fighting him where your supposed to. In the big forest arena. One of my friends killed him by sniping him right after the cutscene where you see him in a wheelchair on the docks. My other friend got to him, then had to take a break from the game for finals. When he came back the End had died of old age.[/spoiler:9dc349c2ac]
The whole thing:
[spoiler:bab414f45e]Sigint: "Uh, Snake...what are you doing?"
Snake: "I'm in a box."
Sigint: "A cardboard box? Why are you...?"
Snake: "I dunno. I was just looking at it, and suddenly I got this irresistable urge to get inside. No, not an urge - more than that. It was my destiny to be here; in the box."
Sigint: "Destiny...?"
Snake: "Yeah. And then when I put it on, I suddenly got this feeling of inner peace. I can't put it into words. I feel...safe. Like this is where I was meant to be. Like I'd found the key to true happiness. ... Does that make any sense?"
Sigint: "Not even a little."
Snake: "You should come inside the box... Then you'll know what I mean."
Sigint: "Man, I don't wanna know what you mean! Between you and Para-Medic, is everyone but me that is hooked up with the Major strange!?"
Snake: "..."
Sigint: "Yeah, well, anyway, I suppose even that dumbass box might make a decent disguise if you wear it inside a building."[/spoiler:bab414f45e]
Made me laugh, too. Hate Kojima's writing, love the little details.
Read my book. (It has a robot in it.)
Lyn finally delivering some stabbity justice unto that bastard Lundgren to the general rejoicing of the entire army.
