I am TERRIBLE at this game. I'm seriously the bottom 10 percent of FPS players, but I still enjoy it. Is it ok if I try to join the Angry Dome sometime, or is that just too bad?

You will likely die plenty. I did the first time. Then I went away and slaughtered large quantities of the common man on pubbie servers. When I returned I got the occasional top ranking. When there were hardly any PA people on there.

Maybe the horde of PA people trying to get on Angry Dome could be thinned if the other servers were put above it in the OP. They're empty most of the time.

I know that there's an ongoing debate back and forth about spamming certains weapons - usually with Warcry being at the heart of a lot of them.
I still feel that kicking people for CG/40mm/M60 is silly - today was the first time since playing here that I've seen it become an issue in-game on the Angry Dome, though. Usually people just gripe back and forth in the forums.

That is because most people curb their spam when asked to curb their spam. Davincie did not. You sided with him, and did not say "smoke launchers desu." You basically had a double whammy coming. But, back to your original complaint, you could have gotten right back on the server had you asked like a civilized person.
Since I hadn't played assault until last night I didn't realize i could kill people through walls with the 40mm when the wall explodes. I was quite amused.

You just need to know people, davincie. I know people and I get to spam the CG and 40mm grenades all over the place with absolutely no repercussion. Goomba even thanks me for killing him with the M60.

Anyone else having technical difficulty? I'm unable to join any game and teh Single Player goes to teh loading screen (over head map) then goes black and immediately dies.
I don't remember updating my graphics drivers since it stopped working, but something isn't right!

Visibility being tough is why spotting is great, the red arrows tell you what your eyes might not have picked up immediately!

- the output currently looks a bit funky on the game client, like so: Player: [Server]: <text>
but with the next game client it will look like: Server: <text>
· admin.yell to squad has changed (you need to specify both team and squad)
· squad numbering has changed – the “no squad” squad has ID 0, and real squads are 1 and up.
· Autobalance improved, it shuffles people both during and between rounds now, and does a better job. No way to turn it off via admin interface yet I think.
· Players have non-PB GUIDs now (these are distinct from PB GUIDs)
· onChat event reworked
- now it specifies target player subset as well
- shows text before profanity filtering
- client-originated chat messages starting with “/” make it to the server, and broadcast via onChat, but are not broadcast to other game clients
- use “/!<command>” if you want to be able to send commands to your homemade rcon tools without showing the commands to other players
· player.onAuthenticated added (it’s triggered when a player receives GUID)

This kinda makes me glad I'm on the 360, to be honest. You may not like it, but it's a viable tactic, and if someone manages to live long enough to dump six antitank mines on a point I'd say the defense is performing poorly and probably deserves it.
