So yeah. I don't know how, but I suck at using the CG. Like, I can't kill anyone with it. I'll hit someone square in the face and I'll get the damage cross pop up, and they just kill me. Got no idea what's going on.

Most of the dogtags I get from knifing people are bloody and copper or rust colored, while some are clean-looking and metallic grey colored.

That's not blood, they're just copper dogtags from a low-ranked player.
Silver dogtags are from players rank 20-something to rank 39, and Gold dogtags are for rank 40 or more.

Was playing a game of conquest on Panama Canal, and I made a row of 5 anti-tank mines. Me and two squad-mates just sat back and we were waiting for the tanks to roll by. Instead of tanks, two fast moving ATV's come flying up the road, side by side and both hit the mines at the exact same moment. It was a crescendo of badass, as they both blew up simultaneously and went air born as the 3 bodies rag dolled through the air, perfectly in sync.

    I love this game.

And does anyone else just sit around all game and lay mines at the entry way to the enemies spawn, just to see how long it takes them to figure out that it's jerry-rigged to blow? It's a dick move for sure, but it's hilarious.

It's just kinda suspicious when the two people kicked from the server are leading the other team by a pretty wide margin.

I was at the top and leading by quite a bit. My friend was the other person kicked and he was just below me. This is actually the third time I've been kicked and every single time it's been when I've been doing really good. I don't know if it's a coincidence or not but it starts getting really really annoying that every time I do good I get kicked.

If you don't wear a tag, you'll be kicked for a PA'er if we need space. Its not a hard thing to comprehend, you've posted in the BC2 threads a whole, what, like, now, just to complain? Well, sorry you were kicked because no one knew who the heck you were (FYI, I was not the one to kick you). Maybe next time you should take steps to ensure it doesn't happen? There's a pretty simple mechanism to prevent this situation we're in, and you're choosing to avoid it. This tells me two things, 1) You don't want to wear the tag and incur its benefits, 2) Who cares.

I've never been kicked! Its like some sort of Christmas miracle. One time I didn't even say uguu~ and I got to stay! Sure, been a number of Dome crashes... which were probably strategic. Now that I think about it, you are probably right, non-tag person.

I am, and have always been, well aware that not wearing the PA tag means I might get kicked. But when the people who are kicked are at the top of the leader boards (and the admin lies about it)

Everyone has to find an ammo box except for assaults who have them. Saying "They don't refill" is wrong, because they do like everything else that needs an ammo box. If you're screwing around 10 billion miles away from anything you don't get to complain nobody is giving you an ammo box.

And I've never had problems refilling rockets as an engineer, then again I'm never stuffing around 10 miles from nowhere.

Eight rockets with explosives perk. Makes for some delicious anti-vehicle goodness.

You'll never need to care about rockets ever again. Minding I don't use the CG on principle (I think I have a whopping 1 minute with it) and prefer the RPG-7. I imagine most PC engineers do this to make the game as close to quake as possible.

I dunno the defibs and ammo boxes and repair tools and health kits and mortars don't need them and assaults replenish their own gadgets and that's pretty obviously what I was saying but if you want to be a fucking pedantic silly goose then go on ahead, I'm still correct.

Recons that use the sniper rifle up close are at a disadvantage. Recons that use sniper rifles far away can't use motion mines. I THINK THAT IS AN ISSUE AND I don't care if you disagree because, frankly, I don't really respect your opinion.

Your statement said nothing about ammo boxes, repair tools or health kits. You claimed that you couldn't refill motion mines and rockets. This isn't correct because you can and you seem to have forgot C4 in your list (which is the other limited usage gadget).

Either way you were wrong. You can replenish these gadgets, abloo abloo about it some more to someone who will care (not me).

what? i've been playing for two days and i use motion mines all the time. i plant them on targets, on enemy thoroughfares, on handy enemy cover. you throw them a pretty far distance. you can use them long-distance even

They're not for detecting people close to you. They're for detecting people far away. so you can shoot them.

If you are in throwing distance you gonna get Abakan-ed 5 times out of 3.

    range sniper rifles are superior = 1; range assault rifles/1911s superior = 2; smgs= 3; M60 = LOL; range you can throw mines = M

    LOLOLOL 1 OLO 2 LOLOLOLO M LOL 3 OLOLOLO

I believe that is how the argument goes. Reducing accuracy at range or increasing falloff damage are possible fixes proposed.

I'm not sure if it's the lower player count, or smaller maps, or what, but Conquest does seem to have lost its appeal. I love the older BF games, but for this I prefer rush. I don't know why.

edit: Although Conquest always would have benefited from a Red Orchestra-style progression of points.
