I prefer Rush as well because it's always more zany and objective orientated than Conquest - which seems to turn into team deathmatch with the odd flag.

Eight rockets with explosives perk. Makes for some delicious anti-vehicle goodness.
You'll never need to care about rockets ever again. Minding I don't use the CG on principle (I think I have a whopping 1 minute with it) and prefer the RPG-7. I imagine most PC engineers do this to make the game as close to quake as possible.
Gotta love how people keep comparing the CG to quake. Yes, it totally spews out rockets while people rocket jump and rain down death.
Most of the complaints are of the fact that it is nasty, IE effective in the right hands. Yes, any idiot can get kills with it, but any smart man who can aim will rape with it...that pisses people right off. Otherwise the guys who miss end up looking stupid while they get plugged in the face.
Edit: Also, got the m60..slapped that on one round and...heh...I'll trade being an ass with that than the carl any day, what a weapon. Thankfully for most though, I'm not hot with the LMG's...for some reason I just want to fire the damn thing like rambo, which doesn't make for accuracy.

With my old card and psu I had this issue with games using the unreal 3 engine. Only games with the unreal 3 engine would bluescreen me and only with certain settings enabled. However it was just an obscure voltage/memory problem that I could never fix. That said its not like it was the Unreal engines fault.

sounds like from 3 seconds of googling that the geforce 310 is an entry-level video card, but i don't know what to expect out of it besides "better than integrated graphics"

If I read it right, your running a 310? That's an entry level GPU, and likely doesn't have the horsepower to handle everything well. I could be wrong, I'll go do some quick research. One thing that WILL help if you missed it, make sure you shut HBAO OFF.
Edit: And actually, the 310's are actually 210's rebranded, unless it's OEM specific.
Edit 2: Uhh yeah worse, performance is pretty sub par for the 310's...it might even be integrated, from the looks of it? It's about the same as a 5700 Ultra.

Yeah, you were lied to my friend. Good rule of thumb with Geforces, anything numerically ending in a low number is not top of the line. (IE 8200 < 8800, 310 < 360, etc etc).
I cant say for this game but for every game I have played I would just throw the PA tag onto my name if it seemed like the thing to do. I haven't seen any actual PA clans, you know...serious business clans.

For once I can completely agree with that. The CG - even on the 360 where it's nowhere near the same problem - is still a giant n00b cannon. Same with the M60. There is no "skill" to using these weapons. People who whore these weapons are going to get a rude awakening when they are nerfed I'm betting.

Unless I'm looking at the wrong Goomba, that could explain your crappy K/D ratio? I'm not sure how much your helping your team by running around with it, but at least your dedicated. Does this make you a good player? Not really.
As for whoring the CG, oh yeah, I got my share of kills from it. But it amounts to 388 of my 2,185 kills. I had about the same K/D ratio before I even used it, and I only *just* got the m60. So, you do the math, eh? I switch between weapons constantly, hence the kill ratio is spread out. That...and I'm a heavy armor expert.

If I read it right, your running a 310? That's an entry level GPU, and likely doesn't have the horsepower to handle everything well. I could be wrong, I'll go do some quick research. One thing that WILL help if you missed it, make sure you shut HBAO OFF.
Edit: And actually, the 310's are actually 210's rebranded, unless it's OEM specific.
Edit 2: Uhh yeah worse, performance is pretty sub par for the 310's...it might even be integrated, from the looks of it? It's about the same as a 5700 Ultra.

Yeah, you were lied to my friend. Good rule of thumb with Geforces, anything numerically ending in a low number is not top of the line. (IE 8200 < 8800, 310 < 360, etc etc).

For once I can completely agree with that. The CG - even on the 360 where it's nowhere near the same problem - is still a giant n00b cannon. Same with the M60. There is no "skill" to using these weapons. People who whore these weapons are going to get a rude awakening when they are nerfed I'm betting.

Mostly I speak of annoyance, because of the simple fact of hypocrisy of whats allowed, and what isn't. I never said the CG isn't overpowered, I'm just saying it can be overcome. I've played on plenty of pubs where the thing is spammed, and while at times it sucks, it isn't any worse than getting killed by seventeen other things.
In other words, QUIT BITCHING and play the goddamn game, and take a rocket in the face like a man. Oh wait, don't like that? fine, I'll shoot you just as good with anything else.
Edit: The ironic part is, I'm pretty bored of using that build and moved on anyways. Mines and Uzi's are oh so juicy right now, along with a new Sniper Rifle.

Unless I'm looking at the wrong Goomba, that could explain your crappy K/D ratio? I'm not sure how much your helping your team by running around with it, but at least your dedicated. Does this make you a good player? Not really.
As for whoring the CG, oh yeah, I got my share of kills from it. But it amounts to 388 of my 2,185 kills. I had about the same K/D ratio before I even used it, and I only *just* got the m60. So, you do the math, eh? I switch between weapons constantly, hence the kill ratio is spread out. That...and I'm a heavy armor expert.
