How about a little Kenny Wayne Shepherd? Haven't listened to a ton of his stuff but I got wrangled into going to a concert of his recently and it was some pretty great stuff though a bit of a step outside my typical genre lines. (It's a Hendrix cover, but there's a surprising lack of his stuff on youtube based on some simple searching.)
- Dan Auerbach's solo project Keep It Hid is heavier than his work with The Black Keys.
- Seasick Steve is an amazing guy, he's a multi-instrumentalist and some of his work is closer to country.
- The White Stripes have quite a few blues classics they put their own rock twist on. See for example Catch Hell Blues,
- The Black Box Revelation are closer to good ol' greasy rock than blues, but there's a very strong undertone of the blues in their work. Both records are great if you ask me.
I can't link YT clips here, my connection is too slow.
I can't see the youtube videos at work, but Blues Traveler has some hard rocking blues stuff as well. Hell, most of the stuff that never earned radio airplay is along those lines, Tam.
Brother John is one of my favorite songs of all times. I highly recommend checking it out.
Sadly, Dead Meadow have gone more indie rock in their latest few releases.
Check out Harvey Milk's The Pleaser and Core's The Hustle is On. No vids on YouTube for either. HM is really heavy blues while Core is very VERY Electric Ladyland era Hendrix. The Hustle is On is one of my favorite albums.
I wouldn't call him a "hard" blues rocker, but check out Joe Bonamassa for some serious blues rock. (And damn this work internet filter, this looks like a totally badass thread but I can't see any of the videos)

Have to second Stevie Ray Vaughan
Some of Tom Waits stuff might work, and it's worth going through his back catalogue anyway
And if we're going to mention Stevie, we may as well mention the man he is trying to emulate, Jimi Hendrix.
