How do you get hatemail for using an F2000?
I get called all kinds of shit, and 98% of the time it's little kids. On Bailout, just the other day, I'm running (hypocritically, I might add) Marathon LW Ninja UMP45, rushing and flanking. Wound up something like 27-4. End of the game, kids on the other team complaining about someone camping. One of them says "Yo dawg I think it was Scatman," followed by his prepubescent posse saying "Scatman you fucking pussy-ass bitch, fucking camper, I'll kick your fucking ass!!11!eleven"
hatemail. It's only amplified x10 when they call me a booster in the pre-game lobby.
Isn't there a, "How not to die 20 fucking times and get zero kills" guide?
Edit: Also, thanks for the advice, I'll try sticking to my team more. I seem to like playing classes that run around though, I guess I should focus on flanking in that case instead of trying to ambush people.
I think I'm going to stop sniping, it's not something I generally enjoy in any games.

I need 3 more for the emblem, the best looking one IMO.
i think the emp is pretty badass. i have everything through the pavelow, and im 8 away from stealth bomber. Im going for emp next, but im not used to trying for that high of a killstreak, its not really my playstyle.

I've never gotten a 15 kill streak that didn't lead to a 25 kill streak so I really can't be bothered unlocking the EMP until last during a prestige
and my playstyle is usually doing very well (lol hate mail) with weapons people don't usually use
and sniping cause I'm good at it. but if I try I can go for massive kill streaks like my highest of 48.
EDIT @0Replace4Displace: I've had the silver AC130 title since second prestige and since then I've always gotten about within 1 or 2 calls in of the emblem and them cave into my prestige cravings.

My highest was like, 53 or something, but generally if I'm going for a killstreak like that it's a nuke anyways. I haven't been running AC-130s too often, lately.
edit: highest was 43, on Favela, which ended with me at 43-0.

It's pretty much the best overall AR that isn't stupidly overpowered. Close to medium range, it fucking dominates. Long range is a bit tricky, having to burst-fire it, but still better than some others. Plus it has my favorite irons in the game, so silencers are lovely.
CB Pro is actually pretty straightforward to get. Just wait until you see a chopper doing its death spiral, and OPEN UP on it. Every hit counts as a "kill"

Yeah, I've noticed that sometimes I'll jump up several "kills" per match without doing more than this, so it feels pretty great. Question, though: for the "kills" to register, should I be seeing hit indicators?

No, you won't get hit indicators. Just shoot the tits out of it.
edit: Lightweight Pro causes you to stop sprinting and bring up your weapon faster; that animation from sprint --> run is practically removed, resulting in (assuming an equal ping and reaction time, plus perfect aim) a scenario where you'll always win if you come around a corner and shoot at each other.

I heard PC multiplayer was supposed to be shitty? I had an absoloute blast. I am disappointed I didn't start playing this at the beginning of the weekend.

I've been avoiding this game simply because I heard the MP was an absoloute disgrace.
I believe outside of the regular PC hacks (aimbots, wall, and texture hacks) the game is good. Where as treading through the waters of 360 MP was a pain at times.
No, it works just fine. Occasional matchmaking wonkiness, but no big deal. I haven't run into hackers for months and even then they were few and far between.

Latecomers also happen to be lucky enough to have avoided MW2's early months, where Javelin suicide bombers and care packages all the way down caused much rage.
Matchmaking in the most recent patch seems to be far better than before too.
I can see how people could be mad at the glitches, and believe me I'm glad they're gone, but god damn the Javelin glitch weekend was some of the most fun I've had in a multi-player game.

to the 360 players, what level stick sensitivity do you guys use? I'll freely admit that I'm fairly bad at this game (in my defence, I put it down to lack of practice) and I'm yet to find the 'right' sensitivity setting.
Also, am a newly converted layman in the church of SPAS, I feel bad bringing it out on friends in local MP =D
to the 360 players, what level stick sensitivity do you guys use? I'll freely admit that I'm fairly bad at this game (in my defence, I put it down to lack of practice) and I'm yet to find the 'right' sensitivity setting.
Hmm... I wonder if mine is set to high or something, as I am terrible at aiming most of the time. I need to take a look at it to see if I can make it better. Watching killcams makes me wonder if I'm doing something wrong, as other folks seem to aim so much better than me.
And speaking of aiming, I tried out sniping a bit this weekend. I am quite the awful sniper. I had one decent round where I found a rather high point to shoot throug a fence. But the rest of the times were not nearly as good. But I figure with practice I can learn better places to be, and I should use claymores more. Got myself stabbed in the back many a time.

I usually use a Sniper so 8 or 9 sensitivity
Although playing a round on 1 is always lolz worthy

edit: 5:7:15 is fun, as well as 7:11:15. The enemy team gets EMP'd and complains vehemently in the post-game lobby.

The RPD has to be the easiest gun to get mastery on. Just wait until you're going for SMG mastery, oh ho ho the rage you shall post.

Lets you Aim down sights faster out of sprint.
