Yeah, I'm not much of a sniper, never really enjoyed it tbh. I do pull out the intervention on derail (that's the snow one right?:oops:). It's been mentioned before but honestly, picking off someone then moving so you have a line of sight on your old sniper spot will almost always net you a second kill as the guy comes back for vengeance
Also, big thanks to you PA guys! RPD grip+holo, SPAS and UMP are class weapons, really played around with them earlier tonight and went 18-4, 23-11 and a 15-0. My best stats to date

Welll, that one time I was shooting through the fence I was up there for almost the whole match. No one was coming to get me.
However, I was only getting assists. There were two guys on my team on the ground doing the actual killing. I was just winging people because my aim is awful .
And I completely understand the moving around stuff. I just do not know many of the maps very well. So I don't always know where to run to get the next spot. And I generally run into someone else and get shot on my way to the next spot anyway.
Some of the maps have a rather obvious long line of sight area that is very sniper friendly. I've been slowly picking up on those, and avoiding them when running around with rifles or whatevers.

Wonder how many people will now jump ship from IW and make the move over to Respawn.

Just to clarify (because I mis-read you the first time), they'll retain all of their IP for future games, they don't retain any rights for current games. When I read your first post I thought they'd get to take back the MW stuff, but that's not the case. It's just their new games.
I used to use care packages all the time, but now they just make me nervous as all hell. I hold onto them for almost the whole match (or don't use them at all) because I'm so worried that someone's gonna steal them.
I think right now I've got 3-6-7 killstreaks set up. Which is HORRIBLE. UAV-Precision-Harrier. :? WTF am I thinking? I think I just wanted to get a challenge knocked out about Airstrikes, but jeeeez, this is a bad setup. Gonna have to change that tonight.
I find I'm more likely to get harriers and stealth bombers and attack choppers getting care packages with hardline.

I heard PC multiplayer was supposed to be shitty? I had an absoloute blast. I am disappointed I didn't start playing this at the beginning of the weekend.

I've been avoiding this game simply because I heard the MP was an absoloute disgrace.

Holy shit. So this is what a multi-million dollar game is like.
I'm really grateful for the mp trial, it reminded me of why mw1 became stale for me in mp and mw2 is no different.

I run Red Tiger. Camo never actually makes a difference, to be honest. Unless you're in Hardcore, nobody is going to go "HEY, THAT BUSH HAS A BRIGHT RED BARREL STICKING OUT OF IT SHOOT IT"
So now where do I go to decode the crazy shit you people are saying like 5-6-7 or 7th Prestige
5-6-7 is a set of killstreaks, ie 5 for predator missile, 6 for precision airstrike, and 7 for either attack helicopter or harrier airstrike (he's probably using harrier airstrike)
prestige is a concept where once you get to level 70 (the level cap), you then start earning experience towards being able to prestige -- what prestiging does is set you back to level one, with no unlocks or challenges completed, but you get to keep your titles and emblems
the benefits are that every odd numbered prestige (of which you can do 10 times) will give you an extra custom class slot (on your 1st,3rd,5th,7th,and 9th)
it also unlocks the potential to earn new titles and emblems, and each prestige has its own nifty level icon (10th prestige is a spinning gold coin with a black skull on it, for example)
