I find it more amazing that people will pay for other people to buy DLC just so they can watch a video of them play it. Most Rock Band related youtube videos don't get that many views (a few thousand) and almost all of those are from the people like us who are really into the game.
Like Hillean said, all it takes is a buck a week from a couple of dozen people.

Well, speaking for myself, I am a Medium-difficulty drummer. My hands work just fine, I don't miss much, but I can't separate my hand-beat from my foot-beat. If the footpedal notes go crazy, like most hard/expert songs, I fail out pretty fast. So I understand my level of playing.
I enjoy watching people play songs I wish I could play on Expert. I'm still astounded watching some of the gold-star 'Perfect Drug' drum videos, and try to take up pointers or just watch the footwork, slowly trying to differentiate my feet from my hands.
I can see why people would donate; if they can smoke 100% a song on Expert Drums, they probably actually *do* play drums, yet spend their time playing Rock Band 2 instead, showing us their skills.
Just because people aren't out on the street showing their skills doesn't mean maybe they don't deserve a tip or two.
Hey, if you can get the money, good for you. As someone who has sunk major dollars into this game, if I could get others to buy songs for me, I am not turning that down. I just kind of view donating to these people as you buying the same songs twice, which seems silly to me. Of course, those people who buy every single song released as DLC no matter what it is also seem silly to me.
However, far be it from me to tell others how to spend their money. If you earned it, you can do whatever you want to do with it.
Just a few people could donate a few cents, and that ends up saving thousands of people potential dollars if they see that it's a bad notechart.
Bad notechart meaning either 'Chord stumming? Sux!' or 'That Hi-Hat should/shouldn't have been red! Sux!'
Or more like 'wow that either looks fun, or boring as shit to play'.
I've downloaded some songs that I really enjoy listening to--but they are boring as hell to play, much like 90% of the Beatles songs. Man, do I enjoy listening to them--but there's little to no enjoyment burning through them.
I haven't encountered many with the 'Guitar Hero' effect (mixing bass and lead guitar notes to strengthen difficulty, etc.), so I'm usually pretty happy by watching vids to see if it looks like fun or not.

On guitar? That shouldn't be surprising. The charting for the Hendrix songs pushes the limits for what should be the acceptable balance between realism and fun. And it leans definitely toward realism.

That Smash Mouth song just makes me think of Mystery Men...which is a good thing . We're also finally getting some of The Used which makes me a little happy. I may only end up picking up The Taste of Ink. I always found it funny that The Used was originally marketed as "The singer pukes on stage cause he sings so hardcore."
It is exactly the same as what I speculated it was here. All the leaks were correct and the remaining 4 songs were the only 4 singles not previously confirmed.
Other thing of note is that the game only contains 3 venues which are also confirmed.

If they fucking break up Brain Stew and Jaded like they did the Queen songs in LRB, there's going to be hell to pay. Seperate songs they may technically be, but nobody plays them that way. Fucking assholes...

There is a video floating around of them being played and I am fairly sure they are played together...
And I suppose it's long since time to give up hope for any more Beatles DLC.
Pretty much. God only knows what the fuck they were thinking when they licensed the band the way they did. Adhering to the Sunk Cost Fallacy is pure bullshit, but you don't license The Beatles for a video game and then half-ass the amount of content.
Good to know about the Green Day song. That shit in LRB still gets under my skin.
The rumour is they import/export into RB3. If I cared enough about it all, I could probably find some worthy quotes of disappointed 'fans' that the game won't be as 'epic' as it 'should be'. Air quotes and all...
That was my reaction. I thought for sure they would have woodstock as a location since that performance kinda broke them nationally.
I don't really get using the bullet in a bible concert as the venue for an entire decade of their career. Dookie has its own venue, 21st Century Breakdown has its own venue and then the last one is for everything else?

Well, the Fox Theater in Oakland is where they debuted 21st Century Breakdown before it was released. I was so close to getting tickets too ><;. It's a fantastic place to see shows and I'm glad it's in there.
Don't get me wrong, those venues have their story to tell but they better be fucking amazing to just have three. LRB had the issue of tons of venues but little in terms of stage movement (repeating movements, out-of-sync instrument playing despite closeups, etc.) but if GDRB can really make each song distinctly different in terms of stage performance/special effect, I'm cool with that.

How about B.Y.O.B.?
See? 'Sux!'
Playing the Hendrix stuff for the first time
"Wait Until Tomorrow" is my first three star ever, I believe. I've always just failed or gotten four stars
I work with a guy that has it and really loves it, he's playing it pretty much every day on lunch break
Also, I have yet to 5-star a song from Axis, this is getting worrying
It's 1999 all over again with Smash Mouth!!

I've said it before, but System of a Down sounds like a modern, non-ironic Spinal Tap led by Will Ferrell.

Odd decision there.
You mean a real venue in their hometown is an odd decision for a catch-all venue for everything else?

Can't understand the hate. Crazy silly geese.
That Green Day stuff looks great too, don't like the new album but the rest of that line up looks stellar.
