Harmonix said more Beatles DLC coming solely depended on how well the 3 albums sold, and considering the game itself didn't sell very well at all, the albums did worse than that.
I just found out that Rock Band DLC cannot be purchased with a XBL Silver account. Ummm, wtf?
I've been a loyal XBL user for many years, have about 150 bucks worth of Rock Band DLC, and did not renew my subscription for financial reasons. Microsoft had no qualms letting me buy their Fun Bucks with a silver account, it's too bad I can't use them for what I want though....

Have you tried purchasing them on xbox.com? It might be that the Rock Band store is a Xbox Live feature which would explain why you can't access it. Still, that's stupid if it is true.

That implies the song was produced and/or performed. I think they just threw some metal cans out a window and gutted a cat then played that noise back at variable speeds.
Also the deal with the Beatles has always been that they just can't grab the masters and push them out, Abbey Road sends them static-filled masters for the charting, then HMX charts them, then Abbey Road takes the data and remasters it for the game, and then Harmonix has to.. yeah, it's a lot more time involved than just "normal" DLC.
Also I still consider Beatles having the best DLC support of any of the band games because it's the only band game that has DLC support post-release (Metallica just understood DLC that was originally released for GH3/WT).
No comments anyone? I found it at least interesting that our assumptions of poor dlc sales being a factor was wrong.
Also interesting is that he basically says (without actually saying it) that RB3 will support all previous DLC tracks, and that (and this is even slightly more just hinted) RB2 will be exportable.
Not that that would be unexpected.

Hey, I'm a pretty big Rush fan, but Camera Eye and Vital Signs.... they push my limits.
You're a Rush fan who doesn't like The Camera Eye? TCE is like, the holy grail of songs Rush never plays live, and you're complaining?
Nah I'm just giving you a hard time. Honestly I think Moving Pictures is a bit too over-hyped, and besides, they played the entire album sans TCE last tour anyway. If they just played Limelight and maybe Tom Sawyer I wouldn't be sad. Other albums need love too you know! *cough*Rollthebones*cough*
THANK YOU!!! Bones is perhaps my favorite album. Though I generally prefer the later stuff to the older.
Though, yeah, Pictures is a bit overplayed but then again half the album is some of their biggest hits....
They've pretty much said they've done all these exclusive deals with Microsoft because they've been far and away the most cooperative with Harmonix.

Also, who really thinks Sony or Nintendo would be dumb enough to turn down a charity Beatles dlc track for Doctors Without Borders? And who then thinks that not just one of them but both would be that dumb? And that both would be that dumb and that fact then wouldn't have come out some way, like a Microsoft PR guy leaking it?
Speaking of 360 exclusives - I just completed my "giant consumer whore" merit badge. In case anyone wants one, the 360 Stage Kit just dropped to $19.99 at Gamestop. I found one within a reasonable drive and picked it up today. Now I'm just waiting for it to get dark out - can't wait to give it a try.

Hope your volumes loud enough. I live in an apartment so it kinda doesn't work well having to hear the fog machine going off.
That and my friends started panicking as the room filled with smoke. (We weren't sure if the smoke detector would like it)
Best Buy has these for 25, if anyone can't get it at GameStop. I'm sure they are extremely limited at either place.
it sounds like a fun thing for a party but i can't see myself using it because when i play rock band it's normally alone in a dark room with no pants on
Just a heads up for people who haven't picked up Beatles: Rock Band yet. Blockbuster is dropping the price on their used copies for all platforms to $14.99 tomorrow. They also have a B1G1 on $14.99 games and under at the moment with some decent selection. I doubt you'll get B:RB much cheaper.

Yeah same.
Looks like I lucked out with getting the country on disc track pack. It includes all three 'Going Country' DLC track packs and two songs from another AFG Country track pack. It was 20 bucks.

Do you have all the instruments? Because all you need to do is just start the game and then you can back out. You dont have to play any songs at all.
I have 549 Rock Band Drum and 305 Pro Drum FC's

That depends on which platform you want to play it on.
Yeah, I want the PS3 version, but it looks like I already have a few of the tracks on the disc
Anyway, it doesn't exist for PS3 or 360.

Maybe Wii too?
But I don't think it's even for charity anymore, and it makes no sense to have limit the userbase for it.

Microsoft probably matched the expected contribution from Wii and PS3 with $$$$
