Oh man, I just pander to them. It starts pretty light, like maybe I'm serious. But it gets full on stupid. It's the only defense I have against internet cool cats, since I can't punch them in the face.
"Oh wow, you are awfully good, Ashe."
"Damn, look at that arrow. Stunned the guy from across the map, bet he won't heal that before the team fight."
"That sure is a good build for Ashe, you're pretty pro, huh? Never would have though to get a thornmail when their team is all magic damage. Good call, bro."
*attempt to add to friends list* "I want to be like you when I get pro. Teach me?"
haha YEAH!

I'm sure they'll patch it. They patched the TF bug.
It's not a bug. Heimer has one of the few abilities that the developers designed to also damage turrets -- just look at the tooltip. (As far as I know, Rammus's ult is the only other ability like this.) Grenade + turrets are what make Heimer such a good pusher -- unlike other pushers, he can safely do damage even when you've got two teams locked in a staring match.
They may change it in the future, since Heimer is way better than he used to be and the grenade (combined with everything else) might now be a little imba. But as for now, not a bug.
Also, Heimer's grenade is really fucking hard to land on anything BUT a tower, so I'm not too angry about it being a stun if you're skilled enough to throw it accurately.
I too enjoy the new vs. loading screen. I like that skins are shown, and it just seems to fit better.
Garen is kinda a funny guy. No IP to buy him but I've played against him plenty. In my ELO range, people kinda are meh with him, though.
I've been kicking serious ass on Heimer. The guy is meant to take Mid and never let it go. And Hextech Rocket + Ryjal Scepter (whatever the hell the item is with the 35% move reduc on spells for 2 secs) is pure damn gold. I've screwed up whole teams with one barrage followed by a nice grenade.
Ok, so I'm curious about TT. Never tried it, but scared, since 3v3 seems scary compared to 5v5. Any help or tips?
Tanky characters own. If an item costs a shit ton of money to build, it may very well not be worth it. Pick someone who can hold their own at level 1, because you will likely have team fights from the get go. Learn the jungle, and treat every bush like a loaded weapon pointed in your face.

No info about when the EU patch day is yet. This annoys me.
Choose a champion with higher health, have more map awareness through out, and keep in mind that not dying is even more important than it is on Summoners Rift.

Buy a sight ward. Every time. Put it on the lizard. This is a game changer.
Never push past mid alone unless you know exactly where the enemy is and how likely they are to catch you
The most reliable champs on TT are medium-high HP characters with respectable damage output who can solo jungle early. You generally want at least one champ on your team with a reliable stun/snare and one that can deal intense burst damage. Those who can do all of that are top tier. Jax, Poppy, Taric, Sion, etc.

Also, got into a game with a yi that decided not to speak up and tell the guy who picked Garen that he wanted Garen. Proceeded to run into the enemy base while I played write angry email to [email protected]
I just had this experience as well. I've been fooling around with Shaco as of late, so I'm pretty noob with him. Even so, about 5 mins into the match (I died once, but so did one of the other opponents my lane, neither kill was first blood), and this Tristana who took mid launches into this tirade about how he is a "pro Shaco" (oh how I loathe the adjective pro in online games) and that he wanted to play Shaco, but couldn't because I picked him first.
This was wonderful since he hadn't decided to speak up till just then. Subsequently, he then went into full-on whiny mode and decided to just sit at base for the rest of the game.
I hope he wasn't high school aged. I conflict resolution and interaction was a more formally taught subject for young kids.
This reminds me of a similar case, where in champ select I picked Mord and said, "Hey, I'm not the best Mord, FYI," and some guy says, "Can I be Mord? He's my main," so I repick Shen, and we both get high teens in kills and completely crush all vestiges of resistance from the enemy. Maturity and compromise win the day. That's the story of humanity, in one LOL game. Cooperate with your friends to kill your enemies and take their stuff.
Probably got hit with 3 balls that luckily clustered tightly.
We should have won that game. Nunu was useless, and our Veigar was decent, but not up to expected Veigar-like levels of killitude.
Morde feels REALLY nerfed to me. Whenever I face off against him (at least as Garen), that shield strips away FAST.
I'm pissed because they are probably like 15 talking shit and being racist.
Actually I'm probably wrong. They are probably adults, which is even more infuriating. People like that shouldn't win games!

It's necessary because Heimer's auto-attack damage is trifling and towers target his turrets with priority.
is his auto-attack damage more trifling that other mage champs?
and really, i don't care about the stun or the blind that much, it's just fluff. i really hate that it can take out turrets from beyond turret range and it is very hard to do anything about it when you're solo queued.
you know, where it's like "oh, so you've won 30 more games than you lost? allow me to introduce you to some anal rapists. also, everyone on your teams will have just suffered blunt trauma to the head and lost all motor skills and capacity for critical thinking. you can expect to start winning again after losing 7 games or so. maybe."
also, it's becoming clear to me that i can't play mordekaiser anymore without taking cleanse. too many people are wise to my health regen shenanigans and i get ignited like WHOA
edit: also, my ISP is doing that thing
that thing where it's like "o hai, you're trying to play a video game at 11PM on a weeknight at a university? FOUR HUNDRED PING"

We should have won that game, but Nunu was an idiot and didn't buy a single ARMOR tank item. When every heavy hitter on their team was AD DPS. Veigar was also way too suicidal for someone who's trying to snowball a Mejai. Sure dude, you got that kill, but at the expense of 4 stacks. Nice one. He also kept wasting his ultimate on people who were already 2 seconds away from dying from MY ult, when he should have been using it on, I dunno, their Gankplank who was killing our entire team.
Morde's fine. His early game has been nerfed so you can't just charge into every situation with reckless abandon in the laning phase, but his shield is actually better in the late game which is welcome. I think the Randuin's Omen is also a really nice soft buff for him... synergizes with his abilities well.
edit: All of Morde's abilities charge his shield, and only Siphon's charge was nerfed (and not by too much). That's what makes him deceptively durable: if you attack him while he's got Creeping Death up, he has added defense and resistance AND is charging his shield which blocks further damage AND (if he has Haunting Guise, which I generally do) he's regenerating health.
Having to queue dodge so many non-tank teams the past couple days. I'm a little bored of Gragas all the time and it seems like nobody wants to play anything but dps.

from max range yes maybe
also, i don't care what you think, that stun area is tiny and very difficult to land outside of using grenade at point blank range

I agree so much! He is so kick ass, once you get used to throwing his ult the enemy team is like putty in your fat fat hands.
The secret to playing an awesome Gragas is getting the scuba suit and being awesome.
Yes. A thousand times. I saw this last night. He rocks heimer in many ways.
Sidenote, Gragas' Q is so good on TT thanks to not having as many ways to get away from it in a lane.

Real men pick a lane, hit 'attack en route' on the enemy tower, and say fuck it.

2.5 seconds?!
Sounds about right for as stacked as they are. End the game sooner/counter with your own ridiculous items.
Was talking about the portraits that you can see when checking out the friends list and such. Not the loading screen ones.

Don't his abilities contribute less to recharging the shield as well?
Or the E at least?
RE: ChopperDave
I am something like -30, and I still get those match ups every. single. time. I play.
Sometimes I have a bad game, but more often than not I'm either a.) A positive K/D b.) Lowest deaths on the team or c.) Both
I don't get it.
