If you take over wouldn't you be able to switch it off without killing everyone?
Looking at the gear the Arcadian residents are hooked up to, I'm betting that it's some sort of life support system that they are stuck wired into. Likely the Centre wasn't thinking of ever having to disconnect people from it, so it is lethal to remove them.
The humane thing would be to let them live but not hook up any more people, but that would assume those people would not be completely insufferable idiots who would cock up your further plans in some grandiose way.
Or worse: one of your chaos friends who you just helped bringing back to life by running around for hours fighting the many horrors of the netherworld decides that being humane is terrible and they start working against you because oh heavens being nice is not allowed in their narrow-minded world view.
I don't really follow the game's reasoning to be honest. And too bad it's so draconian in its measures: Destroy it and kill everyone attached without even a chance of saving them or supplement of "you can't rescue them other than through death".
I really see taking over as Chaos purely because you'd become a sort of God akin to The Matrix. Most of the people rescued WANTED to be free not chained inside and they were dependent on the machines when attached.
Really, such a poor design. But... that's old games, couldn't get super complex without time/money/resources/extra CDs/disks/etc.
I really see taking over as Chaos purely because you'd become a sort of God akin to The Matrix. Most of the people rescued WANTED to be free not chained inside and they were dependent on the machines when attached.
I don't think you actually take it over (because that would mean plugging in and... sitting there for the rest of eternity), you just keep it running with you as the new admin or whatever.
And since 'Arcadia' was a grand experiment of those Mesian dudes in the Centre, keeping it running would be... well... the Lawful thing to do.
Also, if I'm not mistaken, the FINAL alignment decision is not long after this.
I'm pretty sure we are dead set in Chaos at this point(the Law answer still kept me Neutral at worst).
Without going into detail, it's in the form of a mini quiz. Sort of like Raidou 2's if anyone played that.
So, would everyone rather just blindly prefer to vote on an alignment, or see the questions and decide from those?
Nah, the final choice is later, and it lets you pick either path, unless you're really far in one direction.
Basically, either the Angels and Lucifer ask you to join their side. If you say no to the Angels, you are locked into Chaos unless you say no to Lucy as well. Saying yes to Angels locks you into Law

Ah. Well, I'll probably just post the questions anyway.

It can get no realer than this.
I recorded the boss fights preceding this, so I sure hope people watch them!
You know, this is probably going to be the lone voice here.
but I say choose Law. or at least go Neutral. Everyone always seems to rave about Chaos and, I can see the point, but *everyone* seems to choose it. Honestly, I'd kind of like to see a Law or Neutral playthrough. Preferably Law, since it's such an unpopular choice in this game. (Completely understandably).
Well didn't you say choosing the Law choice for Arcadia puts you at Neutral? Then you'd be set to go Law when you get asked the Major question by the angels.
Always good to hear the LPer wanting to push out more.

Part 8: Divine Wrath [Part 1]
Continued operation impossible. Shutting down..
So much for that.
And so much for them. The Arcadians still seem to be alive, but not doing too well.
Paradise came at a great cost.
So, back to the Watchtower. (Too. Many. Floors. later)
Siren's chamber.
I thought for sure that I'd never see you again...
The two of us will return to the Abyss.
Never again will I leave her side!
Thank you, and farewell! We will never forget you!
Some cash would've been nice.
In lieu of that, this brings all the prisoners back to their senses.
Another for the collection. Yes these are required items, unfortunately.
Had to go all the way back to Betelgeuse's lair for it.
Back in Holytown, and we find an interesting news update...
Turn yourself in immediately.
If you do not turn yourself in by the end of the day,
we will cut off the air flow to Holytown. Everyone
there will most likely die, but it will be an unavoidable
consequence.
Repeat: Kenshi, report to the Center at once....
In order to kill one person, me, they are going to kill
everyone in the entire Area. I don't doubt they'd do it
for a second, so I'm going to do what they say and
go to the Center. Not to turn myself in, but to fight them!
The Thousand Year Kingdom project has gone astray
and become nothing more than a plan to let the Center
dominate Millennium, and I am going to put an end to it.
Farewell, everyone...
The locals aren't taking the news well.
Neither are some of the not-so-locals.
They've been pushed into a corner, and will eventually
have to show their true colors. The reign of the Elders
controlling the Center will soon be at an end.
For once, I hope he's right.
Let's expedite the process.
Aside from the terminals being conveniently inaccessible, which sucked, it was an easy trip.
I'm no longer one to give you any orders.
I wouldn't listen to them anyway.
The Elders want to speak to you directly.
Go to the 22nd floor. The passcode is 2784.
It's not all we need.
But he escaped our grasp, and since he knows that 5261
is the passcode to the 21st floor, he went up there to fight
the Elders!
damned Elders were throwing their weight around too much,
doing whatever the hell they damn well please!
Karma, y'know?
Lucky for them. It's also Kenshi's trail.
Lots of walking, not many threats.
There were some Powers and Virtues, so the Angels are breaking out the bigger guns.
They say that they want to establish God's Thousand Year
Kingdom and bring about an eternal peace... but in reality,
they built a world of domination and control, robbing humanity
of its freedom! This is not what God wants.
See, not all the Messians have lost their minds. Just most of them.
He who wishes to pass must hear my words! And answer!
Thy mother is possessed by a demon and is in great pain.
She is asking thee to kill her and end her pain.
This guy again? Deja vu. (See: SMT1's opening.)
The questions here determine alignment. Since the thread's all Gaian friendly, I assumed as much.
(And I have no reason to disagree.)
Here's the questions, if anyone was curious.
Thy mother is possessed by a demon and is in great pain.
She is asking thee to kill her and end her pain.
Wilt thou finish off thy mother?
-Yes
Thou art a member of the city guard. Thou hast given 100000 macca to
equip thyself. But on the way to the store, thou dost see a throng of starving
people. Will you use thy Macca to feed thy people instead?
-No
Thou hast met an unknown group of unknown of people on a dark road. They
glower at thee and thy companions menacingly. It is clear that neither will
yield and that this encounter will end in hostilities. Will thou attack the
group before they attack you?
-Yes
And the result...
The Wall is not happy. He'll live.
A friend of ours didn't fare so well.
Western media references all over the place in this game.
(No De-Stone doesn't work, just ask Porom and Palom how well that went for them.)
Not long after, the Elders await.
Well yeah, he owes me a few thousand macca.
Such is the fate that awaits all traitors!
Now we shall destroy you as well!
You really should watch this. It was one hell of a fight.
Would you believe he was the easiest? Still freaky as all heck.
Soooo much XP.
Almost didn't know what to do with it all.
I shall punish and torture thee and thy children,
and thy children's children, throughout all eternity, until the end of time!
Okay, bye bye.
Michael, Raphael, and Uriel were all defeated.
Who else is LEFT?
Oh.
Following the will of God, I worked together with
Michael and the other Archangels to try and bring
about the Thousand Year Kingdom. ...but Millennium
ended up being nothing more than a method to control
and enslave humanity.
There is no place in such a city for a Savior to lead
the people... and so, no savior ever came.
The Archangels could wait no longer, and tried to
create one themselves. By doing so, they strayed from
God and his will. God abandoned the Archangels, and
spoke to me directly. He told me to separate myself from
the others and proceed along the true path.
Thanks to you, I was able to return Kenshi back to normal.
He is waiting for you in the Center Control Room.
Good to know.
Since you defeated Michael and the other angels, I was freed.
With the Elders gone, there is no one to dominate the people
any longer, but by the same token, there is no one to operate
Millennium and keep it running any longer either. I am worried
about the fate of Millennium...
What on earth happened!?
My body is not completely healed, so I can't move about freely yet.
Could you go to Holytown and see what happened there for me?
Please.
May as well.
The only thing I believe in now is money!
A true Messian.
I was so tempted. Not very good skills, though.
Elsewhere still...
Goody.
I've succeeded in compressing minion data even more.
Let me give you the upgrade to the Demon Summoning Program.
With it, you should be able to make as many as twelve demons
minions.
We will most likely not meet again for a while. It's unfortunate, but
there is nothing I can do about it. I hope to see you again.
It's been real, Steve. I think.
recently. Something funny's going on.
You don't say.
This just might be the source.
Freaky.
A lot of people have been collapsing from exhaustion,
the power drained from their bodies.
Great.
Well now we know what it's called.
(This is where one of the Pillars is.)
Full moon dance party!
Yes, LET'S.
Uh...
It comes natural.
That'll do, Blendy, that'll do. (Winning requires a MAG of 10. I have no idea why.)
Fortunately, we've already gotten most of the pillars along the way.
Only a couple left.
From your description, it sounds a lot like the tail of
Maou Moloch. Moloch himself is in the Abyss.
Here, take this. You'll need this if you want to travel
to the Abyss.
There are seven in total. This one by itself is useless,
so there's no point in my having it. Keep it, it will
serve you better than I.
That's it for now.
The planetary color coding is a little familiar...
But anyway.
The final pillar appears.
And the way is clear.
This is the front door Lucy referred to.
No more pleasant.
Rings a bell somehow.
Oh, sorry. Malkuth is what we call the human world down here.
The locals are friendly, at least.
First place I happened upon. A dungeon.
You shall not be able to touch me with the light of the moon
powering me!
Goody.
She repels us, so we'll finish her later.
Here's the only other locale of choice in the Abyss: another town.
And a familiar face... in the flesh.
Come to think of it, this is the first time we've met outside of
virtual reality. You can use these Terminal Stones to record
your progress or teleport around the Abyss. I'll set it up
so that you can use it. Wait outside until I'm done.
With the new terminals active, off he goes again.
I always want one of them around.
Moloch is gathering Magnetite within his own body and
burning it as fuel for some reason or other.
Sounds unpleasant.
Once the new moon comes around, Hecate becomes a kitten.
Thy mother is possessed by a demon and is in great pain.
She is asking thee to kill her and end her pain.
Wilt thou finish off thy mother?
-Yes
Thou art a member of the city guard. Thou hast given 100000 macca to

So far the Mesian answer to every question was murder, with an option on enslavement. And now we are supposed to believe that the non-murder answers are the Lawful ones? Methinks the wall is biased.

Part 9: The Final Revelation
Ring a bell, occultists?
So turns out we have to visit all those areas: sort of.
The way to Tiphareth is locked, and we need keys from the two other areas.
The locals think highly of Mr. Crowley.
in existence. There can't be any other human as arcanely inclined as he.
And there's the key to finding him.
The full moon is the perfect time to have a Sabbath,
but Lucifer forbade me from having one!
O_o
Yeah, that went well.
Another pushover, he dropped something called a Lamed Key.
You thought wrong.
I would be too. What a waste of demonic might.
So on the other side...
Not inlining these images. Click for Tiamat. Her design is ALL KINDS of NSFW.
I don't know how powerful you are,
but either way you're nothing more than mere humans.
You won't stand a chance against me, but Master Lucifer
told me I don't need to hold back. So, for the first time in
quite a while, I shall fight at full power!
Eck. No wonder she got redesigned for Strange Journey.
Freaky design and some charm attacks aside, she wasn't too difficult.
Now I see why Master Lucifer told me to hold back...
And away we go.
I see why Master Lucifer is so interested in you.
He ordered me to bring you to Kether Castle.
Come on, come with me.
Not much of a choice here.
High speed transport.
To think that you'd come all this way...
I am truly honored that you decided to reply
to my invitation... What? Gomory forced you
to come with her? Oh my, I apologize for that.
She wasn't rough with you, I hope. No matter.
Either way, you couldn't have refused, after all,
when the highest Demon Lord Lucifer...
none can refuse. Well, then, Blendy; let's cut
the pleasantries and get right to business.
I'm sure you're here in an attempt to figure out what's
going on in Millennium, so I'll tell you everything.
As you may have suspected already, those insignificant
little Seraphim built Millennium, thinking they were doing
God's will in doing so. However, building Millennium was
actually in direct contention with what God wants.
While the Seraphim's domineering enslavement of the citizens
of Millennium disgusted me to the core, I knew that eventually
God would exact retribution upon them, so I just watched while
tending to the Abyss. But who was the one who defeated the
Angels? Yes, Blendy, it was you. Just who, or what, are you,
Blendy? Not only did you defeat such powerful fallen Seraphim,
but the false God that they had created!
No, the YHVH in the Center you killed was not the true God.
He was created by the energies of the wishful thinking of the Seraphim,
who, thinking that he was the true God, had been serving him all along.
Still, while not the true YHVH, he was still extremely powerful in
his own right. How is it that you were able to defeat him? Could it be
that you are Satan, God's instrument of judgement, punishment,
and retribution? That was worrying me, which is why I summoned you here.
I can tell by the look on your face that this all comes as a surprise to you...
That is good. It would appear that you are not Satan. Unfortunately, that
doesn't mean that everything is all right. I have seen several signs that
suggest that Satan is going to reappear soon.
For example, the fact that Set is starting to awaken. Set is one of Satan's
two halves. Once Set awakens, it is only a matter of time before he finds his
other half and Satan reappears. God imprisoned Set here and put him in a
deep sleep... in order to seal him off and wait for the day that Satan was
needed again. You see, Satan is a tool of God's wrath, a terrible instrument
of destruction. If he awakens, then he will surely destroy everyone and
everything. Not only you humans, but the residents of the Abyss, that you
call "demons". Everyone and everything on this world will be wiped out.
I am the Lord of the Abyss. I cannot just sit idly by and watch my people die.
When Satan appears, I intend to fight him in the one final battle. And no matter
what, I must win! No matter what the cost... even if it means my own death, I
must not let my subjects be slaughtered like so many cattle. Let me be frank,
though. The odds are against me. I may need your help. But while you are
powerful, I do not know for certain whether or not your power is enough to aid me,
or if you are right for the job. I must test you to make sure first.
Blendy, your arrival here was a bit... forced, so I won't ask you to make up your
mind now. If you have the power and the strength of will to fight Satan alongside
me, return here to Kether Castle. That shall be your test. If you join me, I want
you to do so entirely of your own volition. I will be waiting.
I'll be waiting for you at Kether Castle with Lord Lucifer. Good luck!
So yes, the final alignment decision is coming.
So is someone else.
Kenshi wants to see you. Come with me.
Come, Kenshi waits for you over there.
You heard him out, didn't you? You better not have agreed to help him!
He wants to keep the world from attaining peace, and to do that, he first
plans to destroy Millennium! Yes, the Elders went too far, but still, thanks
to Millennium, the people have been able to survive in this world!
We can't allow him to destroy Millennium. There have been far too many
sacrifices already!
I will have to ask you to leave, then. Like Adam and Eve so long ago,
you are hereby cast out of Paradise! Farewell, Blendy!
So, unfortunately, we have no choice at all. We're too far gone.
It's all Chaos from here on out.
May as well head back to tell Lucy...
Goodbye forever. Because I'm going to kill you here and now!
Wait, what?
I can't believe Master Lucifer overestimated a little nobody like you.
There's no way that you're Satan. And there's no way that you're
the Messiah, either. You're just an ordinary, foolish human. And I'll
give you a death fitting of an ordinary, foolish human!
Figures.
Yawn.
I guess you're not just an ordinary human after all.
Satan, Messiah... I don't care whatever you are. With your power,
you can do it... Please, restore me to my rightful, sane form as
the beautiful goddess of fertility, Ishtar.
Maybe another time.
Blendy, are you okay?
tried to shapeshift into me. I told him you weren't the type of
person to fall for such a ruse. Still, I am awfully impressed that
you managed to defeat Astaroth that easily. I want your power on
our side even more! What do you say? Let us walk together on the
path to Chaos, a chaos that will bring about a new rebirth of the world!
Wonderful! Then I shall wait for you at Kether Castle. Come as soon as you can.
That's that. Welcome to the Gaian Armada.
Not good.
Uh, go that way.
Good boy.
Satan really is going to revive after all.
Them's the breaks.
Guess we get to settle things with Abbadon(or Abaddon, if you prefer) now.
More Contra influence.
Hawk? Blendy? Were you swallowed by Abbadon too?
Even the "Great Ruler of Valhalla", Madam, can't survive this.
The Center left me control of Valhalla, and I made it a free area
so lots of people would come there.
The reason the Center let Valhalla flourish is so they could use it
to choose the humans to live in the Thousand Year Kingdom...
I was nothing but the Elders' hired madam... once I am no longer
useful, this is how I end up. I only wish that they could have taken me
and let the other people in Valhalla live...
So long, Madam.
Back in Valhalla, sort of.
I like her design here.
Another old friend is waiting.
You really do NOT want to skip this wall of text.
bowels of Abbadon... I can't believe that the Center, no, that the
Elders would have gone as far as to make Abbadon swallow the
entier Valhalla area! The Elders didn't want you to meet up with
me, because they were afraid I would tell you the truth about
yourself. They knew I was hiding somewhere in Valhalla, but
couldn't find me. So to keep you away from me, they had
Abbadon swallow the entire area. Also, the Center had no more
use for Valhalla, so by using Abbadon, they killed two birds with
one stone, wiping out me and the now-"useless" area in one strike.
I see that you were able to rescue Lydia from the internment camp...
I thank you for that. It's a little later than I had hoped to do this,
but let me tell the two of you the truth... about everything.
Blendy, in other words, you... are an artificially created human, made
by the Center to become the Savior. After the cataclysmic destruction
of Tokyo nearly a century ago, the world was reduced to ashes. From
those ashes, the Messian church tried to create the "Thousand Year
Kingdom" to save the people. "Tokyo Millennium" is the result of their
efforts. However, according to the prophecy, the return of the Savior would
be necessary before the Kingdom could actually come into being.
After building the city, they waited and waited for that Savior... but
in the end, he never came. Therefore, the Elders at the Center decided
to create their own Savior. They thought if they created his body, God
would provide his soul. And the result of that effort was you, Blendy.
In addition, with their advanced bio-technology, they created four others
to help guide you on the path to becoming the Savior.
Rachel was made to be your partner.
Cassio was made to be the administrator of the virtual world,
to test the technology that would become the Thousand Year Kingdom
that everyone would eventually be hooked up to.
Pokey was designed as the Anti-Messiah, to be defeated at your hands,
as an effort to boost your popularity.
Finally, Kenshi was to be your bodyguard...
You alone differed from the other four in a fundamental way. Whereas the
others were created through advanced cloning techniques, you alone
started as a fertilized human egg.
First, this egg was altered and strengthened in a bio-laboratory.
Then, it was implanted into the uterus of a strong, capable
young woman who brought you to term. After you were born, you were taken
from this woman, put in the same type of vat as the other four, and then had
your growth accelerated so a day's worth in the vat was like 10 years of aging
normally. We had you raised to full adulthood in no time..
I-It can't be... Then... then...
Too. Much. Information.
............
but even I could not stand this "Messiah Project". Creating their own savior,
programming five innocent minds to do their bidding... and using my own
daughter in their project as well. So together with Hanada, I erased your memories-
little more than the Center's programming- and then created a diversion and escaped.
Lydia... I wanted to take you with me, but I couldn't get to you, let alone have enough
time to remove the memories of a Temple Knight that the Center implanted in you.
And I certainly didn't expect that you would leave the Center to search for Blendy either.
There isn't much time left. Everything that Maou Abbadon swallowed will disappear soon.
I myself only have moments left. You two need to get out of here as fast as you can.
Here, take this MAG Presser. This will allow you to materialize Abbadon's heart.
Defeat him and escape!
Farewell, my greatest creation...
Wait, tell me more! I need to know! You're my father!?
Blendy is my surrogate son!? How!? Please explain! Don't just disapppear on me!
...Coward!!
Well isn't that awkward.
Er, let's go back to killing things.
But while my body is here, it is not here as well.
To put it simply, my body is a dimensional rift, with no true form.
Therefore, it is impossible for you to defeat me, if that's what you were thinking of doing.
Don't resist, just let yourselves be absorbed! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...
Absorb this.
Well well well, so you made my body take on a true form, did you?
You'll soon wish you hadn't done that!
Michael told me... he said he'd have me turned back into an angel...!
That's why I did what he said and swallowed Valhalla.
Serves you right for trusting a Seraph. So now we can get past the Abbadon void.
Dark tunnels. My favorite.
Side quest area. This was so worth visiting. SMT1 fan service city.
This is where lost souls that want to be saved gather.
Master Dainichi-Nyorai will grant peace and salvation to any soul
that seeks it.
I kept the peace there, but then an evil demon summoner
came along. He and his friends shattered the peace and
took my life. After death, I came here, but they all shun me now!
Even my old subordinates from when I was young!
The missiles came and then BOOM! Nothing left of us.
Just when my plans were on the verge of coming to fruition,
two strange youths came along and ruined everything!
That's why I came here, to repent and seek Virocana's salvation.
With his aid, I can become a Buddha and be one with the universe...
Because of you, I couldn't go to the Center!
Last, and sadly, least...
Ah, what a relief, you're not dead!
But I am dead, so I can't help you any longer.
Wait, there is still something I can do for you.
Here, accept the last vestiges of my power.
We will never meet again. But I am very happy that I was able
to see you and help you once more.
Farewell... Blendy...
It's been real, Rachel.
I provide salvation to any and all that pray to me, regardless of
whether they are good or evil.
Though you have taken many lives, you seem to be willing to
accept my salvation. Very well, but never forget the evil things you do,
and never try to justify them.
Unfortunately, being Chaos spared us a boss fight with him. Shame, I would've loved the XP.
Atavaka, grand general of the Myo-O's,has taken up residence
here in Geburah. And if that wasn't surprising enough, he also
borrowed the twelve Devas, the Shinsho from Dainichi Nyorai,
and brought them here too! They've more or less turned Geburah
into a massive iron fortress bristling with weapons!
...This is just between you and me, but I hear that the twelve
Shinsho each have their specific weakpoints. Except they're so
tough that you'd be dogmeat long before you could find out what
those weaknesses were.
Really now.
ahead, but since Atavaka and his posse took root here, nobody
can get there, since they're not letting anyone pass by.
Now we can't get to Binah or Chokmah!
Okay, here's where it gets kind of dull. Especially for me.
There really were twelve boss fights here. One after the other.
You can break between them if you want to backtrack for heals, but screw that.
They were pathetic.
I'll just show what they looked like. I killed nine of them on Auto, that's how pathetic they were.
With that taken care of, that just leaves their boss.
By order of Master Lucifer, I will test your power.
He was actually really powerful. But low HP did him in.
unable to beat me, but you have bested me,
so you may pass. Go to Master Lucifer, he is waiting for you.
Another sidequest area!
I hear it's sort of required.
It can make the user appear however he wants.
It can not only conceal his form, but his alignment as well.
Hmm. Lydia is sticking with us even though we're now officially working for Lucifer. Yet you still present her speech in Lawful blue. Shouldn't she have shifted to Chaotic red or at least Neutral white by now? Or does her status screen or whatever still indicate she's Lawful?
Likewise Abbadon. Dude sided with the Seraphim. Why is his text red?
Nitpick-y, perhaps, but still... inquiring minds want to know.

Abbadon is still a demon, that swallowed a whole town. He's like Astaroth, hoping he can be turned back. I'd say it's fair to consider him still chaos. He was working for Law, but I don't think you can really consider him or his ideals law-like.
Honestly, Law is kind of an odd duck in this game from what I'm seeing. Millennium and the dudes running it are definitely evil to the core, but Blendy going Law doesn't seem like it's allying with the Angels and their ideals. I mean, you kill Michael and crew no matter what. The real Law path seems to be following Kenshi wanting to protect the people.
Chaos still seems the most 'reasonable', I think for the most part because they're not all "SNARLGROWLRAWRSMASHGRR" like they were in SMT1.

Kenshi's still going to recreate the Thousand Year Kingdom. It'll eventually amount to the same thing as what the Seraphs were doing.
Same with Chaos. Lucifer can talk a sweet game, but he's just as manipulative as the Messians, if not more so; once they're in charge, humanity is screwed. It's demonic rule.
And Lydia's still a Messian in my book. (So's her alignment; it doesn't change.)
I consider all demons Chaos, unless they're explicitly a Seraphim or some such.

Well, whatever. Destroy it anyway. We don't want no Matrix built by Shadow Teddie.
Looking at the gear the Arcadian residents are hooked up to, I'm betting that it's some sort of life support system that they are stuck wired into. Likely the Centre wasn't thinking of ever having to disconnect people from it, so it is lethal to remove them.
Or worse: one of your chaos friends who you just helped bringing back to life by running around for hours fighting the many horrors of the netherworld decides that being humane is terrible and they start working against you because oh heavens being nice is not allowed in their narrow-minded world view.
>Select the pistol
>Now select the mainframe.
Should probably destroy it.
In the meantime, I happened upon this, a sample from Kaneko's SMTII works artbook.
Destroy it for Law!
And since 'Arcadia' was a grand experiment of those Mesian dudes in the Centre, keeping it running would be... well... the Lawful thing to do.
I suppose bordering Evil due to controlling others while they have (literally I'm guessing?) no way to resist your control/actions.
Which is understandable.
I recorded the boss fights preceding this, so I sure hope people watch them!
but I say choose Law. or at least go Neutral. Everyone always seems to rave about Chaos and, I can see the point, but *everyone* seems to choose it. Honestly, I'd kind of like to see a Law or Neutral playthrough. Preferably Law, since it's such an unpopular choice in this game. (Completely understandably).
Plus, there's already a chaos walkthrough on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/user/RaidouFrost#p/c/9A275049A92B5D19
Just my opinion though
Not to mention that the Messians are certifiably INSANE in SMT2.
Or just go Neutral, kill *everything*. =D
You know, it'd be nice if SMT III had been an SNES game. And... err.... had the Law/Neutral/Chaos thing.
That way, we could've finished one Neutral, one Chaos and one Law LP. And by 'we' I mean cj iwakura. :P
But for now just stick with Chaos.
And Part 8 is pretty much done, just waiting for a good stopping point.
(Truth be told, I don't really want to stop at all. :P It's getting good now.)
Even then, kind of a stretch of logic there.
It was one hell of a fight.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3bTPVQW-OA
To be continued.
THERE'S MORE.
Brace yourselves, it only gets rougher.
Not as epic as the last fight, but pretty high up there.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oj0wiCn_tA
Tougher skills, more HP... just one seraph.
Bring your vengeance upon these sinners...
Funny, the only sinners around here were you.
But there was nothing that could have been done.
Be careful! Your fight is not over yet.
The third elder gives us a full heal.
We'll need it.
The grand daddy is here.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ux9TQlfZg6c
You sure?
Master Lucifer... this one is strong...
She was pathetic. 30 seconds, maybe.
The Abyss is our oyster.
Where to?
Next time: The Depths of Despair
So far the Mesian answer to every question was murder, with an option on enslavement. And now we are supposed to believe that the non-murder answers are the Lawful ones? Methinks the wall is biased.

I felt like recording this one.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2bDPmAc-bQ
Probably going to come in handy.
Aw yeah.
She won't be needing that.
And now, the war on Heaven begins anew.
Next time: Endgame - Lucifer's Call
Likewise Abbadon. Dude sided with the Seraphim. Why is his text red?
Nitpick-y, perhaps, but still... inquiring minds want to know.
This seems to happen whenever I go on a date.
But I've gone Neutral so many times(and Law), so this will be my one time to give Lucy a chance.
