It's only a limited window for when they bring the server up for testing, so you missed it. This last time was about 8 solid hours of availability. The best way to keep on top of it is to follow their twitter. I'll also try to post in the thread if I see it go live again.

Yup. The dev was in chat and said that it leveled out at about 620. I wasn't getting any FPS drops at all, there were some lag issues but that's mostly because syncing of weapons/parachuting/etc isn't done yet. The cap was 1500 people.

If you could do missions and such this way, and have npcs and stuff spawn, I don't think I'd ever need another game.

player run factions.
5 tanks crest the hill, and begin battering at the gate of a compound. The defenders launch some rockets, knocking the tanks silly. Two helicopters fly in, only to be blasted apart by an anti-air cannon. Then the infantry arrive, storming the gates, and pushing the defenders back.

races - players start on a boat, racing to a pier. When they reach it, they hop in a car, and race down the highway to an airstrip. They exit the car, jump into a plane, and have to fly to a predetermined location. No grappling allowed.
Don't forget the "obstacles" during those races. Players just stationed around on mini-guns, anti-vehicle turrets, around corners in tanks, you name it.
Basically, it's Death Race: Panua Edition. There should also be a couple people just flying around as "referees" in the best, fastest 'copters. Penalties come in the form of missiles and terrible commentary/puns.

This is incredible fun, but it seems to set my antivirus (free AVG) off every time i use it. Anyone else have this issue? It's a little concerning although i doubt it means anything.

MY completely unfounded guess would be the fact that the MP thing probably uses all kinds of RAM and EXE hook sorcery to work with the base game, the kind of magic that trojans and virii employ for completely different purposes. Of course, this could be 100% wrong. But makes sense to me.

Grappling 3 helis together was not the brightest plan:
Operation Skyhook had me and Eraserbrain doing low passes in our planes to see if Soulgate could grapple on (he did!)
