Right now we've got two Dual Shocks and a Dual Shock rip off hooked up to a PC. However, I really can't think of any good games to indulge in with this setup.
The best thing that came to mind was Little Fighter 2, so I'm clearly not thinking too hard. Competitive games are welcome, but cooperative would of course be preferred (seems to be the way of the world). Any ideas, or is the selection really as slim as it seems?
We actually did enjoy some Heroes of Might and Magic 3, but like someone already mentioned that's a turn-based game and you use the mouse and keyboard for it.
Worms is also turn based, but damn the coincidences never seem to stop because we've just played some Worms World Party on Dreamcast.
And to top things off, we just finished playing some 4 player Dungeon Explorer, which might as well be a Gauntlet rip off. Regardless, keep the suggestions coming (and yes my original intention was simultaneous games played on one computer, but seeing as how you guys have good taste I don't mind if you stray a bit).
That game is pretty sweet, and I happen to own the first one.
It's a shame that the "sets" are collector's items now and have to fetch such high prices. Do you have a specific version to recommend, or does the first one fit the bill?

Flatout 2. I just played the stunt hotseat with a friend yesterday, and it is a blast. Bowling by shooting the driver out of the car at oversized pins is so much more gratifying than WII Sports Bowling.

Is this it? Looks pricey, but definitely not as bad as the eBay results I got.
Also, does anyone know if Star Reach would support the 3 USB joysticks if we played through DOSBOX? That game was pretty cool, although you might know of one that's similar and trumps it.

Question: Why did I see Flatout 1 for $40 at EB, when Flatout 2 came out six months ago at $40?
Would that be better to buy for PS2, or is it more worthwhile on the PC?
I haven't played it on the PS2, but I would have to say the PC version.
1. Kickass graphics. Really, really kickass.
2. Online and LAN multiplayer.
There is no need for a three.
I don't know if it is still true, but the PC version was cheaper when they were released.
If anyone has played both versions I would be interested to know if the PS2 version has all of the obstacles. The PC version has about 5000 per level if I remember that interview correctly. I would be even more impressed with Bugbear if they had the same number on the PS2.
Edit: I meant EB, not Ebay.

off topic but..I wish Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2 were multiplayable on one computer. I think it'd be well recieved, too, since D&D is a "gather 4 friends in one place and have fun" kinda game.
Basically, you'd have the party's wizard using keyboard and mouse, while the other three players used gamepads. If you think about it, most classes only have a handful of spells, so they could have a KOTOR-like interface that lets them run around, fight, and cast a spell every now and then. The mage could still use the full keyboard/mouse setup though.

All the games are available for about $20-$25 each.
That's pretty snazzy, but I think most of them are cheaper used through Amazon.com.
Have you played Headrush? I wonder how that one holds up to the rest.
Headrush is aimed at children.
The humor is less risque, and the questions are fuck-easy. Also, as tends to be the case with children's pop-culture, it became dated rather quickly. I remember there being a question about Alex Mack. It's worth noting that if you decide to play again with the same players after a game ends, your scores do not go back to zero, but rather accumulate until you change players or stop playing. It just sucks that anyone old enough to remember the things they make references to is far too old for the game to be any challenge whatsoever.
Oddly enough, I know that the YDKJ store is actually missing a couple volumes. It's missing volume 5, Louder! Faster! Funnier!, and I think there's one more but I can't recall which one off the top of my head. Hit up Ebay or Amazon for those. Just bear in mind volume 5 needs a patch to run on XP correctly.
I recommend them all, but if you're getting one and only one of them, get volume 4 a.k.a. The Ride. It's by far the best in the series.
If you get two, make the second volume 3.
I want more new YDKJ games, but it seems 6 didn't sell so well. It was kind of half-assed, though, since it has so few questions compared to other entires in the series, pirate theme notwithstanding.
I'm hoping the "Daily DisOrDat BETA" is actually preparation for the triumphant return of The Netshow. Wishful thinking, I know.
Yes, I'm a bit obsessed with the series.
Edit: I just checked, the other volume that's missing is "Offline", which along with L!F!F!, was a "best of The Netshow" volume.

Also, I know Serious Sam (not sure which one, maybe all of them) will do splitscreen on one computer.
Is he asking for simultanrous? The title says hotseat.
If it's hotseat, then Civ4.
Well, the title says simultaneous hotseat. Unless he's asking for games of both genres. In that case, Hell yeah, Heroes would be killer.
if you want hotseat, civ4 and heroes of might and magic 3.

Or, wait until they release the DS port in mid of march
