I have an HDTV hooked to a PS3 via HDMI, and a 360 via VGA. The audio for both goes into my Z-5500 speaker system, via optical cable. However it only has one port for optical audio. I use a Harmony remote to control the whole setup, and it works pretty well, but if I want to switch between my PS3 and my Xbox I have to manually move the cables, which is a pain. Is there such a thing as an optical switcher that would work with my harmony remote? Or some other solution? Thanks!
i'd usually recommend monoprice for this sort of thing, but they recently got hacked and lots of customer credit card numbers got stolen... so yeah, i'd avoid them for a while
And yes, I did google around, just didn't see anything for a cheaper price that didn't look...cheap and awful like this one. Plus, I have no idea if I could make that get picked up by my harmony remote. It's not very precise on all that.

check amazon... there are several on the site, and at least some of them feature a remote control:
