So we get stiff once in a while. So we have a little fun. What’s wrong with that? This is a free country, isn’t it? I can take my panda any place I want to. And if I wanna buy it a drink, that’s my business.
Glad to hear you're doing it again. When we talked at East, it sounded like you were on the fence. That was a great venue and a great way to cap the weekend.

When did we talk at East? I was running around like crazy most of the weekend Enforcing, so I don't remember everything. I'm glad we talked, though! It's always awesome seeing extended PAX family year after year.

We sat at the same table at Fire and Ice during the PrePax dinner. I was the guy completely perplexed by the buffet system, clutching a bowl of shrimp and whimpering softly.

That shit was weird. Buffets aren't supposed to take that long to get your food. :P
I will more than likely be at this party, at the very least for a little while! I was next door to it last year and I do believe you out-partied our party.

Hehe, Only difference this year is we'll have both rooms.. More room to party!

Sup dawg. I heard you like parties, so I put a party in your party so you can party while you party?

That may be true, but your attendees got more hugs from Porkfry. I was standing right next to him when
he was leaving and giving hugs and I almost got one.
It would be criminal for me to not attend this greatness again. It was a great cap to my first ever PAX last year. And for a bonus, I'll be bringing with me another first-PAXer. Hey, I might even have gotten up the intestinal fortitude (and the practice) by then to actually play Rock Band instead of just lurking in the corner. ^_^
I figured that as I had read through the thread and had decided to go about a week ago, that I should actually post, wave my hand, introduce myself, and say I'm going. So that you all have plenty of time to learn to hate and despise me.
I should be able to make it this year with my boyfriend! All depends on how things are doing by then financially... just bought a new car so we will see. ^^; Still going to PAX either way.

I'm good at these kind of operations. Should we discuss non-flamewar-causing topics related to this event? Or would a discussion on favorite cheeses be a better suited for this?

Fixed that for ya!
Personally, I like the Hitachino Nest beers. Their White Ale and Ginger are fantastic!

I've been a big fan of Unibrou of late, the only problem I have is that finding their beers near my place isn't as easy as I'd hope, have to go on a bit of a drive to get to a liquor store that has it in stock.
Interestingly enough, interesting to me at least, I have some Hitachino Nest. Two bottles of the Japanese Classic Ale. I love the flavours the cedar imparted. And I also have some Unibroue. Quatre-Centième Brassin Commémoratif and Éphémère in Cassis and Apple.

Currently I'm thinking either a $35 ticket, or a $37 ticket if we want to do a raffle. The cost of the food/beverages is $33.88 per person no matter what we order, but then there's the EventBrite fee and the PayPal CC processing fee, too.

I would actually be in favor of a $40 or $45 ticket if it means we can have a badass raffle.

May the wombat of happiness snuffle through your underbrush.
I think going 40 or above would cut down a lot on the people who would be interested in coming. I think it would be much preferable to keep it below 40.

What's another $3-5 when you are already shelling out about 35?

Heh, if you are not beating your liver into submission you are doing it wrong
Pity the drinking age over there is 21.
This year, however, I will be there for sure

I wouldn't say it's a pity that it's 21. You're just older and closer to death by natural causes by then.

So do you have an idea of cost per ticket yet? Or will that be dependent on menu?
Wow!
I just went over their beer menu. I totally forgot how being on the other coast really makes a difference in the available beers.
This is going to be awesome! I am going to go home with a stack of labels!!!
