I still never got around to doing the Hammerhead stuff.
Yes, and don't.
Honestly, you're probably better off just clearing the disk space by avoiding the Hammerhead completely. It's basically just a testament to how even Bioware can fail when they're winning.
From the last thread, kicking up the minigame [strike]fight[/strike] discussion again:
The circuit bypass game got a lot better when I realized all the node pairs were linked based on the circuit diagram behind it. It became slightly less about guessing, then, and slightly more about being awesome.
The hacking game was tolerable because I started giving nicknames to all the code blocks. Like "Joker" started with some green, had a couple lines of white, then a few lines of purple. "Chestnut" showed up in every solution, as in "that old chestnut"...two lines of orange ending in a brace, a gap, then some white code.
In other words I had to make my own fun, because there was an insufficient amount already in the minigames.

Is it really that bad?
As in, if I have 80 GB free should I delete it anyway?
Going back to the intolerance from the last thread did anyone else spit there drink out when their male shepard punches a woman in the face? I won't say who or where but I laughed at how out of the blue it was. This woman was bothering annoying me I clicked the renegade option and popped her. I did't know what to do.

Not really. I bet a lot of people punched her in ME1. On at least one of their playthroughs.

Yes.
No achievements, no real rewards, and tedious missions. It's not something worth keeping.

Just finished ME1 (again). Finally managed a playthrough where I was pleased with all my choices. Got level 60 while doing it, too, so that's some nice extra levels for my next ME2 run.

Hammerhead is fun (and free), but it's really simple and really short. It's worth playing through once, at least.

That was one of only two renegade interrupts I regretted and reloaded in ME2.
In the first game, it was like, ha ha, shenanigans! In the second game, with blood on her face, it was like, ooohhhh domestic abuse.
It's just how there's a complete lack of reward for going through the mission, and no real sense of accomplishment once you've done it. At least with an achievement, you'd have an excuse to go through it, even more so if they actually gave you some decent in-game rewards. But it's basically a couple of shit missions that aren't worth the time or energy to complete.

The other interrupt was with Mouse.
Yeah, I could never do those two either, most of the renegade interrupts may not be what some consider moral, but they are undeniably badass. However, those two you mentioned are not badass, they are just what an absolute asshole would do.

Yeah, but when she calls you a bitch, that's just grand.
Allllmost done with my Insanity run. Just the final boss battle to go, then I'll do some sidequests with my main character and hopefully hit 30 and get all my achievements finished out before Kasumi drops and I have to buy it to get ME2 complete again.
Ah, I found the secret to doing the final boss on Insanity with a Vanguard.
Pack a Cain.
With my ammo upgrades I had about 170% or so to start with, but every Harbinger you kill drops more ammo, so I was able to use the Cain twice on the boss and then whittled the rest away with my shotgun and/or SMG fire. I had like 96% ammo for the Cain when I killed the boss, too.
And I even survived, which was a bit surprising.
The only others who survived were Zaeed, who held the line all by his lonesome, and Garrus, who was loyal to me. Miranda, the other one who I took to the boss fight, wasn't loyal, so she bit it.
Man I'm kind of glad I haven't lost anyone so far in my playthroughs.
I went into the finale the first time totally unaware that you could lose a ton of people. Most of the choices were fairly obvious and it probably helped I was working with Mordin and Garrus in that run. I sent Zaeed to escort the crew back to the ship and must have lucked out with Tali.
My last run with with Zaeed and Jack. I hadn't actually spent any time chatting to Zaeed in his room before, some of his war stories are great.
So I'm realising in this run of ME1 that there is some serious glossing over of Cerberus in ME2.
Like the so-called showdown with Miranda - all Shep can do is mention some Cerberus experiments with rachni and thorian creepers. What about murdering Kahoku? And what about the biggest glaring problem of all: Shep is supposedly a "lone" survivor from a Cerberus thresher maw experiment on Akuze. I guess he's all ok knowing that and allowing Toombs to waste the scientist. But does Shep raise that with Miranda and/or TIM? Nah, why bother? that's just ancient history after all. Better to move on with yoomanity in charge.
Also, it seems like Wrex was one step ahead of the game:
In his story about the Aleena (the possible Aria in ME2) he says he chased her around this station "until he ran out of ammunition". Wow - I definitely jumped at that - I didn't realise it was possible to run out, until ME2 retconned it in. But some writer knew about it already when writing Wrex dialogue.

It was always possible to run out of ammo. Not in the game, as the mechanics didn't allow it, but each weapon holds enough ammo for a couple thousand shots. Plenty for fights of the length and scale in ME, but you could presumably run out eventually.
The Firewalker pack seems like a proof of concept. I would guess that Bioware plans on expanding on the Hammerhead with some premium content. I would say it shows promise, given how fun jumping around with it was,
I wish Kasumi was out now, I want to come back to this game with my Adept and check out the new outfit and mission.

The way Al-Jalani shakes it off and recovers as soon as the camera is off her makes it somewhat more okay.
But I was still like what, especially since I did the whole interview without any punching times in ME1.
that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat
