DD/MM/YY ftw. I'll never understand another format. This one is just so logical.
I'm simultaneously waiting for a 24-inch monitor from Dell to play ME2 on. Come on Purolator!
My finals start tomorrow.

U2410 for $400 up in this? You will be very happy sir. Especially at how awesome ME2 looks maxed out at 1920x1200.
Haha, I wish I could afford that, but I guess you missed the fact that my finals were tomorrow. Hence I'm a uni student. Without a job. Making me incredibly poor even by my low, low standards. I blame the stupid exchange market, I have around $1000 USD I can't use right now, though I"m planning to go over the border after my exams are over (I'm Canadian).
It's actually a ST2410 I got for $189 ($300 MSRP) from the Dell Days of Deals offer. . It has a 1080p screen so hopefully it's not that bad. It's got HDMI out so I'm planning to buy a Blu-Ray player my family can share.
Jesus christ I really want this monitor, I'm typing this on my ASUS N81VP's 14 inch screen.

Oh man, I was looking at that monitor. That was a nice price, although shipping said 3-5 weeks. I'm currently planning on picking up the HP 2709m instead. Mass Effect and others should look amazing on a bigger screen.

So, while waiting for the Kasumi DLC to show I decided to play through the Firewalker DLC.
With all the posts talking about how it was the worst thing in the world and only good to delete off your drive, you can imagine my surprise when I finished it and had enjoyed myself the entire time; all for the cost of $0 USD. Granted I played on Insanity; maybe it sucks on Normal?
I dunno.
But it was fun and a nice change of pace. I found myself wanting more stages with the Hammerhead to run around on. Sure, it was only about an hour but wow. Terrible opinions are terrible.

Reading your post on the ST2410 right now. I'm going to try ME2 and some other games with it soon. The shipping was a bitch, but I think the price made it worth it. You don't usually get $110 off something.

I'm bouncing like a damn Quarian waiting for this thing to arrive.
HAha there's people on the Escapist forums who think that the Bioware Bazaar thing was some sort of stunt to win the Best Developer thing. So they just called up a bunch of other companies when they heard of the poll and asked if they could get some free stuff for a giveaway. Gotta love the internet.
I'm bouncing like a damn Quarian waiting for this thing to arrive.
Argh! I won't have broadband until 13 April (and I can't justify a 500mb download on my mobile internet), so bouncing like a damn Quarian and knowing I won't have this until next week is a real downer. Why did I have to move around Kasumi release?
You have to let me know if the missions are any good.
Speaking of bouncing quarians, where did you get that saying from? Because I was just noticing that Tali kept bouncing around a lot in the interminable elevator rides in ME1. It's probably an illusion, but I thought she was extra bouncy the first time she was wearing her shiny new Colossus VII armour!

I got it from precisely that behavior. That and Veetor does it. I don't remember if Reegor does too or not. But if two of them do it, they all do it, right?
She bounces around in ME2 as well, probably as often as Shepard rotates her arm or Garrus adjusts his armor.

No no, see we get the patch on time now. The game just doesn't work for a week afterwards.

I'd never heard of them, so I googled them.
Apparently there's also a shipping company by that name.
EDIT well people who know what that means might laugh too

i need a mod or ini tweak, call it what you will, to instantly grant all research complete.

"The transaction was rejected by the payment processor. Please try again with another payment method."

yeah
well someone had posted the bioware/EA phone support number, so imma try that tomorrow. real people can't give you the email runaround.
it's crazy how businesses that want to make a lot of revenue (steam, amazon, etc.) don't have these problems somehow
now if i could just use my bazaar points for DLC well then i'd be set

I was a professional phone runaround jockey for a few years, and man I can tie you up for hours until you give up and fuck off.
pfft
i have renegade interrupts
and yes they work over the phone
but seriously i'd rather get a few hours of runaround than a few days of runaround

Best guess, Return to Ostagar, DLC for Dragon Age, which ended up being delayed for a couple months after it was supposed to be released.
At least, I think thats what he's getting at.
