People are waiting on the release of the new character pack, Kasumi Goto, which is supposed to be released today (Apr 6, 2010) on XBox Marketplace for MS points.
"What is RtO and why is that a bad reference to make for the Kasumi pack?"
Return to Ostagar was a mis-managed DLC for Dragon Age Origins, which was delayed long past its original release date, then it was pulled down from the Marketplace because of some critical errors. It has since been re-released, but it was greatly delayed and was quite the fiasco. It was about 2.5 months late on the PSN.

It's my favorite difficulty to play Vanguard on. Hard enough to be interesting, but you don't get run through the mincer if you make one single mistake.
It sounds like EA and Bioware are trying to pin this on Microsoft, but other DLC was released today for other games, so it clearly isn't MS's fault. If it was a Microsoft server problem, there would be no new DLC available.

1. Importing a ME2 character to a new playthrough. Have beaten the game, beat the Blanderhead Firewalker stuff, and unlocked the prototypes for some new guns. Can I import this character (w/ my equipment) into a new playthrough? Or is it just my character with all their bionic powers and level?
2. Is anyone besides me just going to play the Kasumi stuff on their normal save file? Like the one that has already beaten the story missions? Or is that pointless?

1. All you carry over with a ME2 import is level and heavy weapons.
Oh and whatever weapon you chose on the Collector Ship.
2. I will. I'll eventually do it on a new game with my Infiltrator but I don't see any reason to not do it on a completed game. I'm sure there'll be more dlc you can use it with.

Yeah, plus how would that affect the PC DLC? Or would they hold it for PC if they couldn't get the 360 DLC out at the same time?

I wouldn't be surprised if they held it so that everyone got it at the same time due to licensing agreements with MS. Of course, maybe the server problems are on their side...
So apparently there are people who actually think Jacob's father had some redeeming qualities, hell, there are people actually saying they sympathize with him, this blows my mind.

Promise me you'll never change, Bioware forums.
well at least they're being honest.
there are enough real life accounts and experiments to demonstrate how vile humans can and will be in instances where they won't be held accountable for their actions.

I'm afraid to ask how they could possibly justify his actions. 'cuz I ain't seeing any possible way to justify anything beyond, maybe, restricting the food supply to a cadre sufficient to keep the beacon working until help arrived.
Redeeming qualities? Well, I guess he apparently was a good father, and the food rationing was a good plan...
Certainly I can understand how things would break down after more than a year of being trapped on a planet where the food made you dumb and forgetful, but even so he's gone past redemption.
There apparently exists a link on the Bioware forums from which you can buy the DLC, but since the content itself isn't on the servers, you can't download it.

Yes. Aside from likely contractual obligations (Microsoft isn't involved with the PC release and isn't getting money from it, so I'm pretty sure they wouldn't like to see that version get extra content before it's available on the 360 version. Whatever size the PC audience may or may not be, they would largely view that as undercutting your sales), there'd be a rather large amount of fanboy RAAAAAGE going on.
So yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if they're going to hold the PC release until the 360 version is online.

why does he need to justify anything. He got put into a position of power, he became corrupt, he abused his power and the trust placed in him. until you've been in that sort of situation I think people should just keep their moral "well I'd behave like so and so" guesses to themselves!
I am getting fed up with charge NOT FUCKING WORKING
god damn it
i'm more pissed at accidentally hitting warp ammo in the menu when i needed to charge a charging krogan
no, you can't 'unselect' it. you're fucking STUCK. it's like hitting the weapons-change button - you're locked into it until the action is completed. i do not understand why.
