I think the forum is split on Cap being a jerk (just like Civil War!).
And it's not really Cap being a jerk since Civil War but how Marvel have totally demonized Tony in an attempt to make the SHRA and the Pro-Reg side as bad guys.
I've been reading old Claremont X-men and good god was Storm sexualized as hell. Whenever there was a chance she was half naked and swinging those rude titties around.

Only peripherally following the Marvel shenanigans since Civil War...is there a reason everyone here is so annoyed that Rogers is yelling at Stark? He basically ballsed up being the leader of the superhero free-world but now gets to keep being an awesome armour wearing billionaire. He's probably due some being yelled at.
The problem is that all the shit Cap is giving Iron Man about is just as much his responsibility. The biggest problem is that Marvel let Mark Millar write the major event that would shape Marvel for the next 5 years or so.

Hell no, but its a case of "one thing is not like the others". Its a bit weird and stands out like hell considering we never even see Jean Grey's exposed ankles in that book.
That was one of my favorite Claremont-isms - that every villain wants to fuck Storm. Loki during the Asgardian Wars? Hey, here's a copy of Thor's hammer, and PS I'd like to bang you. Brood Queen? Dracula? Callisto? Sebastian Shaw? Magneto? Mesmero? They all wanted some Dark Chocolate.
And let's not forget Doom! There was a distinct and unexplained BONG the first time they met.

Cap was alive back in the times when it was cool and patriotic to be racist. Him being a jerk is really nothing compare to the "Slap a Jap and buy war bonds" attitude from his time.

I believe Supes had a cover with that slogan on it. God i love Superdickery. But Cap had his fair share of ridiculously racist moments.
Also, the hottest member of the X-Men is Rogue. This is a scientific FACT, proven by scientists.
Damn, you're right.
Also, regarding Tony Stark: the last time yelling at Tony Stark was awesome was when Nova did it. Every time since then has been dumb. Steve blaming Tony for Norman Osborn taking over is the most asinine thing.
He does have a point that by moving everything he had into government control he risked losing that control. Before when it was all Stark owned, no one could have taken everything from him like he did.
I'd like to take a brief moment to bitch about the cover of this week's Daredevil.
It sucks.
Daredevil has generally always had really awesome covers since the '98 relaunch, but this week's was bland, had poor coloring, and was pretty much all around terrible.

But it was not Tony's fault that Norman took over.
But it was Tony that gave up control of all his tech to the Government.
It's not the fact that Norman took over, it's that Tony gave up too much and put things in a position that someone else could take over all his tech.
If Tony kept his tech within Stark Industries he wouldn't have had to hand it all over when Norman, or whoever else, took over after him.
No, Steve said that Norman taking over specifically was Tony's fault. which is a bunch of bullshit. I am aware of why centralizing that kind of power is a bad idea because of uncertain succession, but Norman himself was not Tony's fault.

Tony's rationalization for incorporating Stark Tech into SHIELD made a lot of sense when you read his own title during the Initiative, the Knauffs did a good show of Tony trying to truly modernize them. Why shouldn't SHIELD agents get Iron Man armors?
And then Loeb and Bendis thought it would be cool to have a red and gold helicarrier which was just stupid.

Ah. I read their argument differently. Although, that might have been me shaping their words into something that made more sense :P

I can't tell if this is a complaint or not but i mean why would it be so it must not be.

Even when I was a kid I would wonder why Tony didn't mass produce some type of power armour for the US military/emergency responders/etc. The idea that the tech ending up in the wrong hands was always kinda a lame excuse since how hard would it be for someone like Doom to scan his armour and figure it out on their own?
Not that Doom would be interested since he clearly has the best armour ever. But you see what I'm sayin'.
Oh, and add another :v: re:Daredevil cover. This is his time to shine! Keep those covers top notch!
Edit: HAPPYFACEaredevil would be a sweet alt cover.

After that issue of Uncanny inside his head, every time I read any extended dialog between Scott and Storm, I think, "He totally wants to fuck her."
I always thought Claremont wanted to do a Scott/Storm relationship somewhere around #150 or after God Loves Man Kills, where they seemed a lot closer in the story than just teammates would be.

emma frost. reading rogue's dialogue with her accent makes me want to slap her. "ah cahn't duh-oo it, scaht."
Does kinda prove bruce wayne, even though mortal, is bad ass enough to take a kryptonian shot. Not only that, actually withstand a 9 month gestation period. Kudos Batman, kudos.
You are all missing the strangest part of that image: Why are they on the moon?! And am I alone in wondering if Bats is wearing his batman underwear and no pants in that pic?
I've seen some fucked up shit in my time but that makes me want to throw up.
and Bats would totally be the man in the relationship.

I have a bone to pick with the IDW Transformers Ongoing
in the latest issue, #8, there weren't any robots until like page 17 or something. Even then, there was only the one Decepticon, and he was killed by one lousy human, who didn't even have a tank or anything. He just trapped him under some girders, blinded him with some acid, then used the robot's gun and killed him after the robot surrendered. Fuck Mike Costa.
