Where do your avatar and sig some from? is it the boxed set? (sorry for changing topic), also deadpools level of regeneration, if an eyelash survives, so do I!
Either the power to wield a shovel extremely well, or the power to control time in such a way that I could create a sort of pocket dimension that exists outside of normal time, and I can shape to my whims.
So I could just go in there whenever I wanted and come out the next day after learning twelve languages and how to make clean-burning nuclear reactors that create BK stackers as their only source of waste.
The correct answer here is gravity manipulation. It's a single power that gives you a wide array of skills. You get flight, offense (through throwing things, pinning people down, and making your fists punch with the equivalent force of an entire continent) and defense (put up a gravity field around yourself so things just curve out of your way).
Your controlling on of the basic forces of the universe with that one. It's a good pick.

Magnetism and the Nuclear Forces are significantly stronger.

Yes, but you don't get the added bonuses of flight with either of those. Except that Magneto does, for whatever reason...
Even though magnetism is a stronger force over metals, gravity seems more useful overall. Nuclear forces would basically make you omnipotent, able to reshape reality at will, at that seems a little excessive.

if everyone else had powers too, I'd want the power to permanently absorb other people's power just by being in their vicinity (a la a perma-version of Peter from Heroes). :P
if I was the only superpowered person, I'd go with telekinesis. its immensly versitile (flying, projectile weapons, shielding, and mind bullets) and practical in everyday life. superspeed (a la The Flash / Speed Force) is in 2nd place for me since it seems like so much fun.

I'll stick with my gravity, thank you.
being in control of gravity should only let you float, not fly, right? you have nothing propelling you laterally since gravity only acts in a downwards manner.
also, TK does everything you mentioned (except trade super punch for mind reading and killing people with your thoughts)

In my hypothetical situation of controlling gravity, it's not limited to turning it off or increasing it, but also changing it's direction. Thus you could fly by negating downward gravity and creating a point of gravity directly in front of you (in effect, "falling" laterally).
In regards to telekinesis, I can't help but feel I'd be happier not knowing what people are thinking. Have you been into SE++ lately?
But yes, for all intents and purposes, they would be the same on the core points, with a few differences on application and scale.
Super intelligence. At its extreme, I could probably use it to correctly to make myself a ton of money at gambling and on the stock market, and it would help me a ton at making games.
Either photographic reflexes (Taskmaster style) or complete electrokenisis. Control over electricity would be unbelievably power. Like, Magneto level powerful.
What superpower does Thanos have? Because I wants me some of that. WIthout the purple skin and gay blue suit, of course.
Wikipedia states Superhuman strength, speed, stamina, resistance and intellect Psionic Powers Energy Manipulation Matter Transmutation and Teleportation. So that is technically more than one.

Damn, so much for that idea. I guess I'd go with molecular manipulation (i.e. Molecule Man). That seems to be a pretty broad yet cool power.
I'd get luck bordering on the absurd and divine protection on top of the guidance of an extremely wizened, prescient individual.
I also wouldn't seem to have any abilities of my own, preventing me from being targeted by the government or anyone looking to commit a hate crime. It'd just be spiritual attunement (and that's hardly something that would come up on a medical exam), and good decisions and strange luck wouldn't prove the existence of anything greater to anyone.

You should read My Faith in Frankie. Having a personal god is a mix of good and bad.

But it ended in a threesome, so I'm not seeing any particularly dire consequences.
That aside, perilous adventures are requisite with any of the abilities listed here.

Super-speed would be cool.

most definitely yes.

Not to nitpick, but telekinesis is moving things with your mind. Telepathy is reading minds.
Then I could choose as many superpowers as I want.
Along with anything else I can imagine.

Ha ha! Screw your wimpy gravity manipulation! I have that and magnetism and the nuclear forces.
