Wardrobe help

I get paid this coming Wednesday and I decided that the whole check will be going towards updating my wardrobe. As I turned to the great minds of PA for my haircut last time and was very satisfied I decided to do the same thing for my clothing.

Currently my whole wardrobe is T-shirts and Jeans I would kinda like a change. In case it has any bearing I am in pretty good shape, not ripped but not fat either. Also my hair is at the point where it needs cut in a couple of days so its normally a bit shorter.

Any advice for shirts or pants would be great just need a little help.

    Something that fits?
    Any particular look you need/want?

    You need to be a little more specific about what you want and your price ranges.

    Yeah, this would be helpful.
    Also, what kinds of requirements do you have?
    You're ok with "popular brands" or not? Do you want to look unique or just good?

    I would like to look a bit more dressed up instead of constantly in t shirts and jeans. Maybe some shorts and some t shirts that aren't band shirts as that's all I own. I can afford deCent clothing but I am fine with cheap nice looking clothes. I would prefer to look mre unique rather then generic collge guy 53.

    I'm a fan of simple v-neck (not deep) tees from American Apparel. They fit nice, look good and support domestic business.

    Also, big fan of plain thermal long sleeve shirts, crew or especially henley style. Simple, COMFY and can be very casual or moderately dressy. Great for layering too.

    Those look comfy, but damn... I'm too fat to wear them well. Motivation to start eating better and get into shape I guess.

    @OP, get some khaki pants and shorts. Pair with polo style short sleeve shirts for a casual, comfortable look.

    Look at the OP and his hair. Does he look like he should be wearing khakis and a polo?

    EDIT: OP, look into some nice fitting Ben Sherman shirts.

    I can't actually see the op's picture. ImageShack, Photobucket, and a slew of other image hosts and file hosts are blocked at work. ; _ ;
