So people are thinking pallys will get smote with the nerf bat? Pallys are cool and all but as a old horde player I cannot help but smile at this thought.

I hope they finally get rid of bubble.
Other than that, I don't care all that much.

Or a change in functionality to fall in line with the DK opposite.
Seeing as druids are getting a concecrate-style healing area around a healed target and Shammies are getting a DnD style healing rain, Holy Pallies getting a talent/gylph to make their concecrate doesn't seem far fetched.
Christ I just made the mistake of going to the thread on the official forums about the charges. I really do forget how bad that place is sometimes.
I like it how half the people on the official forums can't seem to grasp the simple concept of "you only get the mastery bonuses of the tree you have spent the most points in". It's almost like ancient Hebrew to that crowd.
No more Frost and Fire wards? Very lame. Those were invaluable, and often hilarious with the talented absorbs and reflects. Frost Ward is the only reason the 50s and 60s brackets are tolerable as a mage, with all the death knights around at that point.
edit: Also, I'm bored so I decided to read MMO Champ forums a bit.
Jesus fucking Christ.
Better or worse then the official forums?
Did you know that the new Mage ability Time Warp will provide a constant, passive 30% haste for the entire raid and is therefore nothing like Bloodlust, which you need to activate and is on a cooldown? It obviously does work like this, it says so right in the blue post and there are no comparisons to Bloodlust whatsoever.

Bah, my favorites are still the "OMG, they are taking away Shaman's Mental Dexterity talent. I'm going to lose SO MUCH ATTACK POWER. It's a huge NERF!!!!!!!!!!".

I liked "'We will be buffing the damage of Mangle (cat) significantly so that when cat druids cannot Shred, they are not at such a damage-dealing loss', this sounds like a nerf" myself.

I'm really glad I'm not a moderator of the MMO-champ forums. Whatever they pay those guys is both too little and not enough.

Yet another reason why I'm really happy the vanilla launch-designers are mostly gone for good:
For everyone focusing on the RMP Arena comp, I really think you’re going to see a shift to more PvP concerns in Cataclysm being about Battleground balance. There will still be players playing Arenas for sure, but a lot of the players currently doing Arenas are going to shift to rated BGs instead.
Ha ha ha.

But....sometimes sacrifices have to be made although I swear if the hunter changes for bigger stables and no ammo don't make it in I may have to picket Blizz HQ or somethin'.

I don't see what's good about a quote that reads, "Players will be doing BGs so fuck arena balance."
Are you happy that they are implying some portion of the game will linger in some unbalanced state?
Or are you being spiteful and goosey towards another part of the game?
The discussion about tree druids seems like a massive nerdrage, seems like everyone is upset that they won't have to be in a healer only form. I am actually liking this change cause while I can kill stuff on my priest while healing, my druid alt is wasting mana by having to unshift, cast w/e spell for damage, then back to a tree. Oh, and heaven-forbid I stay out of tree form in randoms, even with T9 gear in H UK, I get called out on "heyyy, durid healz is suppozed to be tree, u r turrible healz, byee" (votekicked).
I detest the blur of Arena and PvE where for some classes, their BiS weapon for raiding is from Arena, or their BIS weapon for PVP is from raiding.

Arenas were shoehorned into the game. A lot has been sacrificed in order to provide a comprehensive balance for arena at various stages of play.
The priority of PvP balance should be on battlegrounds and group pvp over arenas. Arenas should be something for those who want to arena to do. As such, minor balance issues in Arena aren't as problematic. The majority of the PvP population, when assuming equal rewards for doing battlegrounds and arena, will almost always choose battegrounds.
Let the hardcore arena folk play the hardcore arena folk. If there are only 6 compositions that happen to work out really well in 3v3 then that's perfectly fine. It's not about being inclusive to the population, it's about providing that experience too those who truly want it.

Same thing has happened to me. "hey y u not in tree?" "I'm out dpsing you as resto and no one's died, I don't need to be in tree." (votekick)

Also, arena from the start was bad play design. It's a group duel, and the game shouldn't be balanced around duels. In every other aspect of the game, your cooldowns are balanced such that you will be able to use them later in the fight. In PvP, you can win wars of attrition and can afford to use your cooldowns at a varying rate. In PvE, the real fights last longer than 30 seconds so you have to plan out your usage accordingly.
In arenas, a certain cooldown strategy can be completely overpowered because it allows the gamble of a quick, decisive win early in the fight. Things that are fine for every other aspect in the game suddenly have to be tweaked such that a person can't lose an arena fight in 30 seconds.

I'm wandering around with my puny level 25 mage dying a lot.

I think it's awesome when people ignore all other changes happening and just focus on one thing. Fuckin' tunnel vision.

GC just mentioned the POSSIBILITY of a minor glyph to get tree appearance 24/7.
I honestly expect 90% of all mages to have one.
