Help me figure out an [Excel] Formula

Basically i've got a E-business case study, it involves being given a workbook with a lot of functions missing in it and having to fill in the blanks and complete certain tasks we've been given with it. Atm a function is giving me some shit.

Basically there's a booking sheet with a Standard or Advanced booking fee, the type of fee is listed in a column in one sheet and the actual price is on another sheet. ATM I'm using an IF Function to identify if its standard or advanced and i want to them use the TRUE, FALSE responses to activate VLOOKUP formula to return the correct response.

This isn't working as planned and i'm hoping somebody could give me some advice on the correct formula. This is what i've got so far:

=IF(E2="ST",=VLOOKUP(B2,'Room Charges'!$A$3:$D$8,3),=VLOOKUP(B2,'Room Charges'!$A$3:$D$8,4))

Could somebody please tell me where i'm going wrong with this formula and now to correct it.

I'm pretty sure we're not supposed to do your homework for you, but you have 99% of the formula right. The problem is you have two extra characters that should not be in the formula.

Yeah, you need to lop out those equals on the vlookup.

Even then, that's usually an error that Excel will tell you about and offer to fix for you.
