    Eric's mom testified in court too. She said she remembered a "disturbing" incident in the fall of 2008 where Cathy said that Kelsey was "driving her crazy."

    oh no.

    She also said that she remembers Cathy went on a trip last winter with some friends and she's pretty sure there were men on that trip. Yeah. At least one. Because Framling and I were on the trip too. It was to a goddamn football game.

    also for the record, Cathy is on pain meds because she has endometreosis (I probably spelled that wrong) and had already had one surgery and was scheduled for another. Her doctor, who also testified, said that she was only taking two pills a day and could refill more often if she wanted, but wasn't.

    I don't understand how the judge ruled to take away custody considering that kind of testimony.

    I have a friend from a small town.

    His stories are insanely horrible. So much rape and meth and child abuse. I just want to fumigate the entire midwest.

    I really don't get it either. It's been horrible for the kid. Her dad took her out of her daycare and put her into a different one, she's hardly got to see her mom since this all happened...

    And Nikki always says how she loves her sister soooo much. Like, she was going to go to the local college because she didn't want to move away from her little sister! Oh well guess what, you just fucked up her life. You blame all your goddamn problems on your mom and not on your complete inability to make anything of your life. If you really wanted to help your little sister, you'd go try to get a decent job so you can help provide for. Start a fucking college fund for her!

    I mean, I miss my little brother sometimes, but I wouldn't be doing either of us any favors if I lived at home and sucked money out of my mom just so I could see him everyday.

    And this is the cousin I actually had some hope for.

    I mean the older one? Yeah, she was never gonna make anything of herself. She's the one that spent $3,000 on a wedding dress (for the record, our entire wedding day cost about that) and ended up getting dumped because she wasn't willing to move an hour away from her family so that the dude she was engaged to could get a decent job.

    I'm honestly kinda happy for that dude, I don't know how he ended up with her. He was cool.
