I'm sorry I missed playing with you guys. I was on last night playing though, so I'm glad I can at least say I got to play on the last day of Halo 2. What an awesome game. So many memories. But I'm sure I'll make many more playing Reach, still Halo 2 will always be my favorite.

I called it quits with 50 games played - could have kept going, but I was getting tired of the marathon.

Besides, there are like 460 people left playing, I think I stuck around until what could be described as "the bitter end".

I stayed at my girlfriends but my online status went from "Halo 2 - Joinable" to "Playing Halo 2". I wonder if I got booted out overnight.

I just realized my dad could either STILL BE PLAYING, which would make little to NO SENSE, but maybe he ended a game and just didn't go back to matchmaking - so Im still online and behind the gate, just not "joinable". I'll find out if everything at my house stays on until 12:30EST.

Man it's gonna be funny when we find out there is some technical reason they can't boot players off of OXBox live without bringing down Live entirely and that the folks who are still playing are forcing some poor poor net guys at MS to be there for like 48 hours straight praying ya'll get bored so they can sleep.

Well, arbitration is still working because games are still getting recorded.

So methinks the thing they mostly killed about OXbox Live was the account compatibility. There's no real technical reason that OXbox Lives are incompatible until they push out a 360 dash update.

And I am also pretty sure about the "they can kill sign in but the Live heartbeat would require taking down Live completely to boot everyone off H2"
