I want to give leaf blade to my gallade now, thinking about ditching focus punch for it since it takes 2 turns to get off. He'll still have close combat so I'm not shorting him on the fighting moves (his other current moves are swords dance and psycho cut).
Good idea? Bad idea?

Hey guys, Discharge or Flash Cannon on Magneton?
his current moves are
Metal Sound
Thunder Wave
Discharge
Thunder
there are a bunch of ice-types you can raise that aren't jynx!
catch a swinub! or a lapras!
delibird?
Speaking of Ice-types, I always thought Froslass was interesting. Until I discovered Serebii and took a look at its stats.
froslass is awesome shut up
Looks can be deceiving...
1)my froslass opens with a really fast Taunt, oh no you can't use whatever move you were going to use.
If you were going to attack anyway skip to step 3
2) Spikes while I get hit, woo focus sash
3) 1HP Destiny Bond

In the UU Bracket, it's pretty much the most popular lead.

Point taken. I couldn't really figure out what to do with mine, so I stuck it in a box somewhere.

A speedy destiny bond user can be a fearsome problem-solver, add in taunt, spikes, some handy STAB attacks, and I've never felt that my Froslass wasn't pulling her weight on the team.

Actually man, if you still have your Pearl version, could you evolve my Eevee for me? I want to give Glaceon another whirl but don't have a sinnoh game.

In the battle tower it's ridiculous. They never switch unless they do not have an attack that can hit you.

Presuming you're keeping your Life Orb, when you get to Stark Mountain on your replay, could I have your second one?
You can have my Life Orb, yeah. Give me a sec to catch a Bidoof to attach it to.

I get that you always get the Destiny Bond off, but would Taunt or Spikes really be that useful in the Battle Tower?

heartgold has a lot of improvements
if you're insatiable and want more, grab platinum, it's the next best. diamond/pearl can be skipped
it's not really necessary though, hg/ss have between them pretty much all the pokemon you could want bar event legendaries and the single player of d/p/platinum is just more of the same

Turned out to be Joey, who ambushed me with his newly evolved Raticate.
Who wants to bet that he'll still call about his Ratatta?
EDIT: Joey gave me an HP up. Rather nice of him.
he actually calls you about how he's thinking of killing himself because he forgot to press b

"Haha, what? It's still a Ratatta. See, It's purple!"
(You are too kind to point out that he spray-painted it.)
That Jynx has crap for stats so I dumped her :P

I feel like I should keep it in my party till I beat the E4, then bring Dragonite back in. Thoughts?

Frankly since you can get a Mamoswine or Lapras well before you even confront Clair let a lone Lance I really see no need for Jynx ever.
Also Jynx is always female.

I'd rather it be some kind of wendigo but I don't think that's an aesthetic that transfers into pokemon

Stat wise compared to other Ice types she's underwhelming.
This is saying a lot because most Ice types aren't what you'd call long lasting.

because she's a minstrel :X
let your heart decide
what pokemon are you talking about?
look up some movelists and see if they learn something really good a few levels earlier in their pre-evolved form
