Chief Tyrol hustles to Communications and contacts the exposed Civilian ship; after identifying it, he orders it to move under the cover of Lee Adama's Viper wing. Meanwhile, the appearance of a ship long thought lost has caused some conflicting loyalties among the fleet.

A scientific research would probably be in your interest Tyrol. Though I guess your other skills also fit this check.

I don't know how bad losing a point of morale is (relative to other resources and stuff), but I don't really have a problem with the toaster losing his hand. It is reasonable to let this check go in order to blunt his influence for a bit, or is morale too important?

Morale is supposedly the easiest to get back. But it's been 9 turns and we still haven't made a single jump and we're being swarmed by raiders.

He definitely should spend more cards since he hasn't been able to contribute to a couple of the crises. Theoretically he could probably handle the entire check himself.

I would rather not lose my entire hand and I can contribute considerably to this check (finally).

And for the record Admiral Toaster I am against losing any resource at any time if at all possible.

On that note I will play 3 Engineering - Scientific Research on the check.

Yes I can probably cover it myself but one or two cards from the rest of you would help cover the destiny if its bad

I will be covering a significant amount on the check. Id rather throw in half my hand to pass than fail and lose morale and my entire hand. But again any help from others would be good

Seriously we dont seem to be getting a break with Jump preps, lets just jump the frak out of here ourselves. I dont like the look of 7 o'clock on the board, another raider activation could be worse than the small potential of losing 1 pop on a jump.

"I would have to agree with Galen on this one. Now the question is who are we going to get to give the orders?"
The most efficient way of doing this would be to XO Tigh out of sickbay and launch us, but I'm not sure of Tigh's allegiance so that could screw us. I'm not really sure of the Chief's either. Gaius, perhaps just walking there yourself is best. It's up to you guys what you want to do, I just know if Gaius doesn't XO Tigh, he probably won't get out of the sickbay since I don't really want to XO a suspected cylon right before their turn.

Well, if the admiral's a cylon, he can screw us once either way. Either he gets to pick a worse destination, or he moves civilian ships into the raiders, or he reveals.

The default choice is him picking a worse destination if we don't get him out of sickbay.

President Baltar makes an executive decision and makes his way to FTL Control, demanding an immediate jump. Despite the fact that jump preparations are not complete and the calculations are not totally spread among the civilian fleet, the order is given and executed.

Baltar FTL Control (1d8=1); The fleet loses 1 Population.

Sending Destination possibilities to the Admiral.

Admiral Tigh makes a difficult decision and jumps the fleet to a Barren Planet; 2 Distance, -2 Fuel.

    bsggame22round10part2.gif

Almost immediately, Dualla reports that several civilian ships have not jumped with the fleet. Saul must make a tough decision; abandon the lost ships or jump back into the fight?

    Rescue the Fleet
    Admiral Chooses:
    A) -2 Population
    OR
    B) -1 Morale. Place 1 Basestar and 3 Raiders in front of Galactica and 3 Civilian Ships behind it.

Baltar, I suggest you get back to the Quorom and start pumping out some good stuff (preferably some morale gain or releasing Cylon mugshots). I could have XO'd Tigh but I'm still unsure if hes a Cylon and I don't want to give him 3 actions. I suggest that Tigh XO Apollo to get out and protect the raiders so Lee can use an XO on his turn, either on the President for Quorom cards or me to try to draw more investigative committees so theres less sabotage.

Holding forth from Colonial One, President Baltar makes an impassioned (and some would say slightly distracted and odd) speech to the fleet. Amazingly, his words actually give heart to humanity and improves the recently lessened morale. (1d8=7), Morale +1.
