Random Minor suggestion

Why not put an indicator image somewhere in the row of a thread if "x" amount of pictures have been directly linked to within the thread.

That way everyone can bypass putting nsf56k in their titles.

Trivial, I know. But I'm pretty sure that's possible, and its one more little thing to do.

    Due to the lag that would be caused of scanning every topic for that information to everyone who views the topic list, it would just cause HomeLAN to die and thr 56kers couldn't even view the page.

    Idea would sound nifty, but the NSF56k will just have to do :wink:

    Just think about this for a moment. Aside from the, literally huge, overhead of scanning every post in the 25 most recent threads for images.

    This tag would be useless. Unless it's going to actually fetch the image (at a cost of more overhead) there is no way of determining the size. So you could have 10 emoticon sized images causing a tag, where as three people posting their desktop wouldn't/

    In all seriousness, I will resign before I put in thread icons. Gabe himself could show up on the forums demanding thread icons and I would refuse. Its one of those things that bugs me to the core. I cant even browse forums that have thread icons.

    What I'm talking about isn't a thread icon.

    It's a checkbox that will automatically append (NSF56K) in your thread title.

    As I said, extremely lazy, but why not.
