HAY YA'LL
I'm going to go to Detroit for Memorial day, and I was looking for some advice. I know nothing of Detroit, but I think that I'm going to be mostly there in and around Hart Plaza Park (Going to DEMF/Movement).
The first thing that I'm wondering is that I'm vegan. Do you guys know of any decent vegan friendly restaurants in that area? It doesn't have to be totally vegetarian, mind you. It can just be a Chinese restaurant with some good vegetable dishes or something. Food preference is Thai > Indian > SE Asian > Japanese > Chinese > American.
Second thing, I think I'll have some time on Sat morning to explore and sight see. What I'm really interested in is looking at some of the places that have been run down. An example of this is Michigan Central Station (

I've always appreciated run down things, so if you also have a site that shows pictures and describes them, that would be nice too. I used to follow artificial owl, but I don't think they've updated in a while.
Edit: I'm going to deposit some links here so maybe I can have a man a plan a canal panama.
