So my mom just bought a Proscan 32lb45q which is a 32inch 1080p tv. Anyways I'm trying to set the color on it and I just can't get it to look right. I've never really done this before. My LCD monitor has an auto setting that really did the trick (thanks Acer) and my older brother said he looked up settings for his Samsung LCDs online but I can't find something similar online for this TV. Help pls
I would like to put something clever and about me but I fear my company will find it
Invest in one of those DVDs thats made to help you calibrate your TV. They can't be too expensive and help you get the best picture from your TV. And they have all the proper tests so you aren't just adjusting it by a paused image which is a bit of a crapshoot.
I was thinking game consoles, and rarely movies and video games, had those same tests that eternalbl mentioned. If you have any gaming systems from the past 8 years or so plug them in and browse through the options.
The one I have is called Avia, it has test patterns to help you setup picture and brightness and all the color levels so they're at what they should be. It also has some stuff for setting up 5.1 systems and probably newer ones do the same for 7.1 and 9.1. There're probably a few available.
Thanks guys, I'll try the game console thing tomorrow with my 360. I am both physically and mentally exhausted now thanks to working out earlier (I got after it) and reading a few pages of the Israeli Apartheid Thread in D&D. I palestinian and it's draining to read some of the stuff people say. I know this isn't the place to post something like this but sad panda's need a place to cry. I'll post tomorrow about my success or failure with the TV
