The great thing about looking up bizarre things in Amazon is it starts recommending things based on your browsing history.

I have a whole lot of Cassie Edwards now Recommended for me.

I think I'm done Sparkin for now, but going into his book I thought "what if this turns out to be pretty good? What if the prose is strangely lyrical, and somewhat seductive?" Nope!

Some will get referenced in ME2, like a character showing up with some dialogue, or maybe a real short quest, or just an email.

Occasionally you'll get an e-mail from a dude or something, but not in any substantial way no.

This one guy was pretty upset with me and sent me a very terse e-mail about it.

Some of them do. Most of them are cosmetic.

For instance (I'll name a couple of quests, but won't really go into detail here):
What you do with Fist has a small effect in ME2. What you do with Helena Blake has a small effect in ME2.

Most of them are just alter dialogue as far as I can tell.

Some have a little more to them, but nothing terribly substantial. They shape some of the story aesthetic, that's about it.

I'm imagining that any significant consequences will be saved for the "big" ME1 decisions, while some of the more minor ME2 decisions might come into play a bit more.
