My friend and I are going as Reapers from TWEWY. While we might not meet up with the Buttoneering group, we'll most likely be doing something involving these:
Another Enforcer joining the madness! Last year I played, but I don't think I posted here. If I get my act together I should have a flag or similar that says "I'm a Buttoneer! Are you?" so I don't have to accost every person I see with 5 or more buttons on their person. That was awkward.
So I won't be making the original button I posted. It wasn't really a great concept anyway, and it was just for the Community DVD. PapaPrinny made his own button with name and logo on it, and I will do the same. I'm really terrible at coming up with things like this, but I thought of something and went with it. Pretty much what I did for my '08 button (see my avatar).
I'm going with the Guild Wars 2, SW:TOR, and BladeRunner references. Because like I said, I'm not good at coming up with things. And I like to make references. So this is my third concept, it may not quite be final but it will be like this.
BTW, I don't expect everybody to catch the SW:TOR reference, especially when they see the actual button. It's really not even a reference, just cropped out a small part of the logo.

I am so sorry you guys! Obviously, I was not up for the constant updating of this thread. Next year I'll have to pass the torch. In the mean time, I'll attempt to add everyone to the OP.

Thanks! Credit where credit is due, though. I just keep pet rats, my friend designed it for me but won't be a buttoneer because she's spending her time with costume. If you see someone dressed as an amazingly adorable companion cube, you'll know why cute is such a natural talent for her.
So...I'm not really a forum regular, but I've thought about doing the button thing for the past two years, it looks like fun. Is it OK if I join in?

BYOC isnt swamped during PAX, just make it clear to everyone to not drop off buttons until after 1pm on friday (When our mad rush is over with).
For the record, I don't think Sheraton is too fond of us.
The Sheraton better be fond of us, given that there's PAX space actually inside the Sheraton this year!
