Hey everybody!
I just went to post on my thread (http://forums.penny-arcade.com/showthread.php?t=117420) but found it to be locked. I'm sorry if this was a breach of unspoken terms, but I checked the rules before I posted (http://forums.penny-arcade.com/faq.php?faq=global_rules#faq_alts) and found no mention of survey restriction.
For those who helped me, thank you very much! And again, if I have offended anyone, I am sorry.
For those who are interested, here's some neat statistics from my survey thus far:
59% don't play music games
63% have never been to a midnight release
49% vs 23% of people like single player DLC over multiplayer DLC
98% don't have kids
93% of my sample is male

harley, there's also a rule about lurking in there
that way you can get a feel for the forum and the unspoken mannerisms of it and its residents
Usually for something like this, it either has to be a survey from a long-time and good-standing member, or a specially organized thing after a long discussion with the mods and with Cardboard Tube.
Your thread was locked because it was a catch-all first post survey. Do you realize how many of those we see as arguably the largest part of a forum for what might be the most popular webcomic in the world
quite a few!
Although you might have had a good reason to post your survey, your method was poorly executed and badly thought out. Take some time to get to know us before you bust in with HEY I HAVE A SURVEY

Which probably skewed the survey more than if I lied
I think I've got some knob polish laying around here somewhere

what is so difficult?
I'm at work.
I feel like this was underappreciated in its context.
SteamID: Baroque And Roll
I believe it is census related.
edit: The survey was probably a school project
