Anyone have any ideas on how we can do these torch runs more efficiently? I mean it's great playing as a group but...
Maybe have 2 or more teams? a teleporter and a smiter and someone to pick up the torch?
Teleporter, smiter, BO/Howl barb. Maybe two smiters to speed it up.
One dedicated torch-picker-upper with two computers and a ton of accounts to mule the torches in. Runs in after every game, grabs it, runs back to pamule and mules it. Then goes to perm the next game.

i can handle the barb and the pickup if we try it this way. it was pretty much what i did for the group runs anyway.

Let me know when this is starting, I'm not in game right now.
If you can't stand up to the 'adds' on Uber Trist, don't go in there. Baal will teleport about to chase people, it's a lot easier if Baal sits in one place rather than having to chase and kill Baal and two dozen of his clones.
Attempting a run as a Zeal/Holy Shock paladin. Question, though, should I factor in weapon speed in what I go zealing around with? Same question with One-Handed weapon and shields.
EDIT: Also, I probably should mention this is on Normal; I have yet to complete the game once...
I'm in the middle of finals so Ronya if you find a giant skull or Grandfather could you let me know through the forums so i can logon and bug you in game for them?
Oh and i'd like a torch eventually too.. i got a bunch of characters so i'm not picky.. are these giveaway deallies going to be going on for awhile longer? like a week or so?
If there's a low stat/res necro torch floating around, I could use one.

I'm questing through nightmare on panm1/wang right now, haven't even made it to the Outer Cloister wp yet. My concentrate barb is like, the least exciting build I've ever played. lol.

i have a lot of fun using taunt and howl to mess with enemies. Lack of aoe is killing me when i want to start farming though, so i'm leveling my Sin.
Of course this will really begin when finals are over >_>

I was able to get in on a chain of runs that some guy must have a bot running. I managed to gain like 12 levels last night in a matter of 45 minutes. Sweet jebus is this efficient. How long will it last me?
Yes, the anguish of an average grief - but since I actually did use a Lo to get a merc fort, I should probably take a walk on the freeway too.
SeñorAmor: Normal baal runs can take you to 40 quite fast. You can go to 42-45ish fairly quick, and if you really want to you can take it higher too, but returns will start to diminish after 40-42.
Nightmare runs will take you from 40 (or whatever) to 75ish, but you can obviously start hell before 75 if you want to - all depending on what equipment you've got, the build you're aiming for and your patience.
EDIT: New char, first three drops are a low quality sash, a cracked sash and an ethereal sash. Come on game.
even a low grief is still something to be frightened of, though.
it just hit me. this game should be called item hunter. you hunt for items so you can hunt for items faster. it's an endless cycle. ARRRRRGH. *off to play barbie's dream house*

Muling is more common than frees, seems like a waste to dedicate the center to it.
What about: stuff to the south of the campfire - where the carts are - are frees? No vendors there or anything.
