Call her now, since she's expecting you to respond anyway.

You should try to accomplish this purely through emoticons. It would take some creative texting, but I believe in you, Napp.

Texting is really convenient at times but I wish people would just call than text, you get your message across a lot faster. Esp if the other person asked to call..

boring I wont argue with on that, your taste is your taste, but you got pretentious from it? Why because its written in verse?

It's the huge, fake air of exaggerated drama and atmosphere. It's like the cartoon is pointing to itself going, "Here! Look at this! It's so epic!" and I'm like, "What? Where?"

Agreed. It takes what could be a neat little story and pounds the life out of it with heavy-handed treatment. It comes across as like, what if instead of writing it in prose, Tolkien decided to write the entirety of The Hobbit in the form of one of those dumbass songs that everyone skips over in Lord of the Rings.

I mean sure some people would be all nut-bustingly excited about it, but I'm certainly not amongst them.

any time that shit happens in a book my eyes glaze over and I skip past it.

I also guess im the only one who read lookouts and got the vibe that it wasnt taking itself seriously, and just being over the top.

speaking of web comics.. any one read

written by a 5 year old illustrated by his older brother. Theres a little youtube video on the site that shows their writing process thats pretty amusing.

Those dumb ass songs stopped me dead in my tracks in Lord of The Rings. Why authors think they can do justice to music in text form is fucking beyond me.

It's like a nursery rhyme, which isn't a form exactly known for being epic in feel. Certainly didn't feel that way to me. I think the what epicness there might be probably comes from the fact they're being chased by an enormous owldeerleopard.

I like the art, I just don't think much of the concept. It's cute, but it just feels a bit......well like Iruka said, strained. I think it's easy to fob off shit on the "it's for kids" excuse. Everything Pixar is meant for kids but they still knock it the fuck out the park.
