My cousin is married to a white South African guy and whatever accent that voice actor is spitting out ain't no South African accent that I've been exposed to.
If I remember right, the original version lacked Jacob, Legion, and Kasumi (who hadn't been revealed yet) and had Tali hugging on Shepard right? Zaeed also might have been missing, I can't remember.
Yep, Vido is pretty pathetic. "shoot you like the mad dog you are, again"... please. This is Zaeed you are talking about. More embarassing than that are all the Vorcha. Like the boom-boom dude in Mordin's loyalty? Wtf? They couldn't be more pantomime if Bioware tried.
But, does anyone else find Kasumi kind of hot when she
says "it's getting hot in here, Shep" if she's the tech specialist. I actually made her wait it out so I could hear it more often. Someone should sample that into the Nelly song hot in herre

I don't know, I'm not sure that Samara belongs in the centre. I mean, sure, it fits, but she's hardly a central character and far from the most popular.

Samara doesn't give you any chances to get interested in her.
Actually, I sort of felt that to be the problem with all the latter dossiers. I can't get enough Legion or Thane. The only reason I felt like Tali had a little more sufficient speech was probably because of first-game memories.
That dialogue pack DLC someone proposed earlier sounded a little goofy at the time, but man that would be the shit.

it's because she's the most symmetrical :P

No, they don't. I mean, you get to take legion on...what missions? assuming you do everything before the reaper IFF mission, which most RPG vets would do since thats the way you play RpGs, complete side quests before advancing the main mission, you get a total of one mission with Legion, that's his loyalty.
this is why in my last few playthroughs I've been patching in one charcter into my .ini file so I can have them from the beginning of the game and see what cool dialog they have.
You can get Legion as early as the other three. If you deprive himself of his awesomeness for the sake of your crew, that's your own fault.
Not quite, as the other three unlock immediately after Horizon and you have to do other missions to then unlock the derelect collector ship which then unlocks the Reaper IFF ,s oyou have to do at least several more loyalty missions before you can get Legion.
Really, if you want to experience Legion being along for as many missions as possible, just bite the bullet and dig into the at game file editing.
If you're on the 360...welp, better luck choosing the correct platform next time.

Imagine if someone modded the game to give all squadmates the Cain.
You can modify how much damage the squadmates do. I modified my squadmates to do 1000% of my damage just for fun and did one misison with Garrus and thane with Viper sniper rifles.
yeah it was pretty funny.

Sounds like something I should try doing for my next playthrough.
One question, though: what happens when you get to the mission where you actually recruit Legion? I haven't really payed attention to how any of the game file tricks work.

Mostly the same but slightly glitchy. You still get all the same events ,and Legion still is up on the catwalk saying "shepard commander", but your squadmate Legion is actually down the bottom with you too, and looks just as surprised to see a talking geth as your other squadmates.
The only real glitch is right at the end as you carry unconscious Legion out, they just carry thin air.
Also the suicide mission was a little glitchy, I was unable to take Legion to any of the squad sections except the final one, he showed up as unrecruited in those sections. Also had the same problem in one of the recruitment missions, though I forget which one.

If you savegame edit following the IFF mission, I'm thinking this should be fixed...?

Possibly, but I was right at the end and it didn't seem worth it to bother.
I think next playthrough I'm going to grab Samara or Tali early on and see what their dialog is like.
Personally I'm intrigued to see what happens if I hack every single squad member into my squad immediately.
How can I find out what my character creation code is for my ME1 transfer person?
On the 360.
You can't. Sometimes a code will show up anyway, but it will usually be wrong.
Faces made in ME1 tend to not look that great anyway, though, so it's doing you a favor.
Ah I found it and yeah it produces something totally different. All I want to do is shrink the mouth so it doesn't look like a Heath Ledger Joker mouth. Everything else is fine but damned if I can recreate it.
I've tried making different faces but once in game it doesn't fit the voice and face I have grown accustomed to.

I really don't see why being able to fully rotate your face is so hard.
I get tired of making a face I think looks good only to notice a glaring flaw after the fact.
But isn't the intro good? It never gets old.

Well, it is awesome. There are only so many times you can tell Joker to get his crippled ass moving before you want to see whether or not your Shepard looks like Frankenstein.

of particular note re: the wallpaper...
samara's boobmole is correctly depicted
jacob is using an assault rifle (why can't this be true in the game)
zaeed is holding the cain like a shotgun

Everybody else will die though.
Oh good, another Samara cleavage shot.

And now you know how everybody else died on his previous missions. Maybe Jessie was a Cain.

It'd be like giving all the monsters in Doom rocket launchers.

Pancake, you must be so sad about Tali.
Why would I be sad about Tali? I've never had any really attachment to her.
I do, on the other hand, have this amazing female Shepard/Miranda fanfic I wish I could post.
Although really Miranda anything sounds pretty boring.
