Honestly, for my druid, I don't gem for pure stam. I gem agi, agi/stam, and agi/hit (or crit, if I'm at hit cap)
It's never hampered my ability to tank anything, and it makes it easier to use most of the pieces as dps gear as well. I do keep 2 helms around though, due to metas. Not to mention jewelry and trinkets.
Are you one of those ridiculous Druids that have like 55k health, and do almost 5k total DPS by the end of the run, and have a "low" gs of like 5200 or so?
Cuz those guys are awesome, in my book. Chain pull? You mean like the whole instance at once? OK!!
Yeah, I'm not feeling this patch. A solitary new boss is hardly going a reason to resub. The cross-game chat is going to be fucking awesome, however. Can't wait for that.
It needs an "Invisible" mode. Sometimes daddy wants to level up an alt in peace, yaknowwhaimsayin?
This is truth. I don't know if they're adding one or not, but it's a good feature to have.
End on
I wish that someway, somehow, that I could save every one of us

If they haven't added on for your friends list, I really doubt they're going to add it in their Battle.net thing. They'll want it to be sociable, and whatnot.
I would put Paladins on an equal level with Warriors, if they always remembered to turn on Righteous Fury.
Sadly, more than half of them need to be prompted after a couple pulls of bouncing aggro and near DPS casualties. This places them squarely in the realm of DKs or, "tanks I assume are stupid until proven otherwise".
Bears make fine tanks, I simply don't enjoy healing them for the reason I stated.
I meant more along the lines of "warriors are more interesting to tank with and bears are so god damned boring I wanna nail my face to my desk".
Earlier I was tanking HoS on my 77 DK and things were going swimmingly. I didn't have a single problem and it was engaging. I had to make sure I hit every mob with something, or lay enough AoE down, or taunt something. Same thing with my warrior. I'm always hitting buttons because I need to. I just gotta sunder some mobs, or fart in their face(shockwave), or hit them with a shield.
On my paladin, I drop a consecrate, maybe a hammer of the righteous, then fall asleep. I don't remember a time since she became a tank where things were really hard. I usually only hit 3 or 4 buttons during a heroic run. Maybe I've been palatanking for too long.
Bear tanking, just, man. Ever since I made a macro for mangle/maul I now only hit between 2 and 4 buttons. Sometimes I charge at things, or FF them, or taunt.
Oh, I just got kicked from a random because the shaman hates the person I named my DK after(Rachael Ray). How nice of him.
Also, I'm pretty sure I saw a blue post stating that some sort of invisible mode will eventually be in. Fairly positive. Crappy evidence, sure, but it's all I got.

Meanwhile I'm tossing saronite bombs, pyro rockets, and using every taunt in my arsenal to keep crap on me, and I still have trouble at times. Granted I'm only level 75, but still.

Edit: The deal with that name was I was trying to imagine something terrible and I couldn't think of any Arthas puns. So I started flipping through some channels, her show happened to be on, and then I knew.
It's still a really dick move to boot someone just because of a name. It's not like anything bad was happening. In fact, we downed 2 bosses without even stopping for mana.
Although, most people get the joke and ask me to make some muffins or a pie.
If it makes you feel better, I wouldn't kick you for that. There's a point where horrible names are so obviously horrible they occasionally give me a chuckle. The nebulous abyss of disgust lies somewhere in the middle for me, with Gandnelfs and Sephiwraths.
It was honestly the first time I have ever been kicked just for my character's name. I'll admit that Rachelray is pretty out there in the horrible catagory. But damn it, that's what I like about it.
So guys, my gf got her account hacked. Apparently a keylogger came with an addon she got from Curse at some point. Thankfully she wasn't a hardcore player, so she only lost all the gear on her 73 DK and about 1000g.
We've both gotten authenticators now, and already reported her account to blizz. How long should we expect to wait on a recovery, and is it ok for her to keep playing in the meantime?
It takes 1-2 weeks to get everything back.
It took only a few days when mine got hacked...but I'm sure it varies.
I was recently in a group for Ramparts on my shadow priest. The first tank we got was a shitty dk tank, no surprise. We booted him and waited about 30 seconds for the new tank, a female blood elf death knight named Haloreachdk. The healer immediately let out a string fucks. We can't kick this person, so we decided to deal with this and move on. We wiped on the first trash pack. As expected, he couldn't find the entrance to the instance. We pretty much made fun of him until he left. Next, we got an an awesome warrior and finally finished.
Seriously, with Cataclysm they should disable everyones ability to queue for dungeons and then force people to find the entrance of each one to unlock it.

I'm actually pretty sure there will be an achievement for finding the entrance to the dungeons in Cata. Not that anybody will give a shit, but I definitely agree they should make you find the entrance.

Playing my Priest and taking him through Borean again, I'd like to complain about something that bothered me the very first time I leveled through Wrath and continues to bother me.
Hemet Nesignwary and DEHTA.
This whole thing is just ridiculous. In Borean, you work with DEHTA to kill Hemet's cronies (who in turn try to kill you). But then, when you get to Sholazar all this is suddenly forgotten and then you start doing some chores for Hemet.
Fucking bullshit. His henchmen were trying to kill me in Borean and I'm just supposed to forget about that and do his bidding now? What the fuck is up with that?
Also, maybe I just imagined it but I seem to recall that some pre-Wrath hype involved about how you would be able to choose your sides in this conflict and whatnot. Not so much, no.
I think Hemet has just that many followers that by the time you hit Sholozar, he doesn't even realize it was you that fucked up so many of his bitches.
And I hope he continues canonically. I don't even know what it is about him that I love. I just do.

I could swear I remember hearing you would need to.

I think they may do it for the new dungeons.
And maybe (hopefully) for new characters going forward.
Like, basically, anything your character can't queue for when Cataclysm comes out? You can only learn to queue for it by finding the entrance.
This seems to be something like what they are hinting they are thinking of doing.

In a way, I like this idea...but in another way, I really like that I can queue for new instances every few levels without having to fly/walk to those places first.

But on the same notion, a lot of the quests you recieve for dungeons originate in the same zone, some of them not a stone's throw away from the dungeon itself. At least for Wrath. It wouldn't have worked in the days of old Vanilla wherein someone in, say, Winterspring says "I need something from the Scholomance. Go there."

That was only really at the top levels though.
Most of the lower level stuff was a quest chain leading up to "Kill the last boss of the dungeon in this zone".
Wrath still uses this design. Get people to the zone, familiarize them with it and then show them the dungeon and let them queue for it.

The way battle.net friend works for the account is by using the email addy.
So if a person only knows your character name, they can only friend that character.

Are you sure it works that way, or has this even be confirmed yet? It would make more sense that a request would be send to a char / Avatar (SC2) / and then the person has to accept that. Involving real Acc Data (and the email adress is one now) would provide more ground for acc scam, or provide social enginnering / stalking hooks. "Be real live buddy with person XY to win free mount." "My GF hates me and now she stalks me when I am playing Diablo 3, SC2, WoW." "My friend sold his Acc but now the new "owner" knows my RL name and email." - I wouldn't like to be in the position of the "customer service guy" who has to support that. :P
That is how it works in the SC2 beta, and they said it's the same system being implemented here. You are required to input the Battle.net email address of your friend in order to add them as a "Real ID" friend. And then, in SC2 at least, it will show your registered real name. Obviously this is risky as all hell unless you wholly trust the person you're friending. If you don't trust them, that's what the regular friending system -- the one based solely on character names -- is for.
