Just as I was getting into my car to go to work, the FedEx truck showed up. At least I know my game is safely inside my home, but still, that was kind of painful.
I think I will join you guys if possible. With my schedule, gotta take Cataclysm a bit more casual, but I'm sick of being guildless.
Just joined them a week ago... They make fun for being canadian on mumble but apart from that a great bunch. Good to always have a group on if you need help with anything.

One of my supervisors at work talked me into getting back into WoW with the advent of Cataclysm, so I'm jumping back in the game after a 3 year absence.
Besides rolling a couple toons on Blazing Blade where he is, I'm also looking to roll on a PvE server as well for some variety and a slower-paced expereince for the new races, and hooking up with PA'rs sounds like a good time.
I've got a Worgen hunter made and up to 13 already, name of Mathlin. He'll be requesting an invite this evening or early tomorrow morning.

Why must expansions always come out during my finals? Egh, anyway, hopefully I can get back on board early January. Possibly even staying for some sort of extended period of time, and not the habitual on-far-too-much-for-a-month, followed by unsubbing.
Prepare to be regaled with tales of how everything was so much more inconvenient back in the olden years.

And how back in Vanilla we had to gather 40 people together every night and slog through the most mind numbing raids on Earth, in the snow, up and down the hills and tunnels 12 times, wiping earnestly for the tiniest chance at 2 people getting real epics and maybe a piece of another epic you had to reforge later with 5 other rare, expensive materials. And there was no such things as Feral Druids and Ret Paladins and Rogues complained and scuttled back to their refuse ridden PvP battlegrounds after contributing shit DPS to Ragnaros.
It's all fresh and new now and there will still be people who remember that crap and will complain.
Anywho, I'm here to say that I'm looking forward to later this month when I'm done finals and can jump into this expack with the GF with my 80's and possibly new characters and I'm interested in checking out some PA guilds, including the venerable Clawshrimp, since we are both tired of server hoovering to find guilds to roll with. I assume you guys still have room for more PAers of taste?
I was going to post a sarcastic "GUILDS FULL" message to welcome all the new people. Then I realized that's an actual possibility now and as official Naming, Going Nuclear and Guild Measurements Officer I think it would be a breach of my duties.
I apologize for the slight inconvenience and panic I didn't cause but might have caused and then told you guys about how I didn't cause it, though I might have had I gone through with my plan before I revised it.

Hey, if someone gets gkicked, do they lose any guild reputation they've earned?
You can quit/get kicked and rejoin and keep your rep, but if you join a different guild it's gone forever. I think.

I was mainly thinking about that what with regard to the honored tradition in many guilds of fake gquits/gkicks and the consequences thereof, so it's good to know this will be unaffected.
I feel like transferring my DK back to Draenor because I don't think I can deal with the 2000+ queue that happened today on Kel'Thuzad. I can only imagine it getting worse over the weekend.
And you guys were cool and let me tank some the first time we ran Naxx. I tanked Heigan. I tanked Heigan like a fucking boss.
Anyone notice how some things (mattresses and the copy machines in Highrise) are totally impenetrable? A steel wall, yeah that makes sense, but bullets should obliterate copy machines.
I don't know about you, but I always buy a bullet proof printer. Its a lot more expensive, but I think the advantages are apparent.

So I was thinking of giving this game another shot. I first played it back when BC was pretty new, played for a couple of months, made it level 40-something, then got bored and stopped.
I've peeked back into things here and there, but haven't really ever taken another serious run at it.
I'm not really in a rush to level a character, I just want to explore the game world and quest at my own pace. But I wouldn't mind jumping in to the PA guild so I at least have people to chat with and maybe even play with, if there's room.
Okay, I grabbed a trial account to check out all the new business going around the wows. I'll bite, gonna resub tomorrow, though I won't be grabbing Cata til the end of the month.
So now that finals are over the girlfriend and I are eager to dig into Cataclysm. Goblin weren't really scratching the itch for us, so we made some Worgen on Draenor. We'll probably be sniffing up a guild invite sometime tomorrow morning or evening.
I made a google docs form to help us organize a bit better. Please fill it out and pass it along to people that don't normally read the thread. I'll make it a MOTD next time I'm in game.
