So my server sucks for horde (Argent Dawn) and my guild is a ghost town. I'm thinking about hopping servers, and I was looking into PA guilds. You guys sound like exactly what I'm looking for, so I might roll up a new char of some kind and check this out, if your still open to recruits.

So I finally got cata after a long hiatus from wow, and with my old guild having moved on and split up I was considering starting a fresh character (worgen rogue probably) on draenor to play with PA folks and see all the new content.

So I started back up with Cataclysm, and it turns out my friends are butts and mostly don't even play anymore, so I've been looking for another server to transfer to.
May work out the details of hopping over pretty soon, I could use another casual guild to hang around with.
Rule #1: Don't rejoin WoW, look for a new guild tied with people who share the same humor on damn maintenance day!

Tuesdays have been my night to work for over three years, which means I'm home in the morning and get some quality gaming time in. Unfortunately, this also means no WoW due to Tuesday maintenance. Oh well. At least I managed to get two dig sites done this morning.
And I got to the questgiver in Thousand Needles, only to find that there was no flight path there and if you accept the quest to get on the boat it takes like three minutes to get where it's going and I only had 1:30 left. Hopefully when I log back on I'm still on the boat and don't have to swim all the way back to abandon and retake the quest.
You'll probably end up at the boat's destination or in the water. Luckily you can now summon a mount while on the surface of water so you can just fly back to the quest giver.

I honestly should have rolled a new character instead of throwing more money at Blizz, but I felt like I'd be wasting my heirloom gear.
I basically paid the character transfer fee to move my heirloom gear over.
I have the urge to transfer my 77 orc warrior over, but its 55$ and not like i have raid gear or heirlooms or anything. And now is the best time ever to start fresh really...if I could just decide what the hell to roll lol. I like warrior alot but am not sure I'm in the mood to lvl another right off of the last.

As it turns out, I logged in without the boat, in the water, about 3/4ths of the way from the start to the finish of the boat run.

I decided to give Clawshrimp and Co a try so I transfered over my old vanilla main, rolled a human mage and a worgen druid. Joining these folks has been one of the best decisions I've made in WoW. They're friendly, good humored and generally fancy lads (and lasses). FOR THE CLAW!
Well, turns out my old guild on my old server is completely gone. Not just the guild, but everyone in it has moved on. How long have character moves been taking recently? Because there might just be a DK Tank coming to troll the seafloor with y'all...

Less then an hour most days, in my experience, which includes my priest getting switched to this server in 15 min. They have gotten much faster then they were in the BC days when they first became offered.
