I mainly play my MooCoW Resto Shammy Misadventure, and I'm gettin' kinda lonely post Cata (and oh em gee the pug sitch right now healing 85s), but I'm loathe to faction change and leave my tradeskill alts behind. I really wish there was a mass exodus/betrayal service for those of us with too many 80+ characters to pay to move.

If you wanna stay Horde and get in a PA Guild, I suggest ethier Beasts of Unusual Size on Ravenholdt US or Obsidian Spur on Sargeras US. I don't think Clawshrimp have a Horde presence anywhere but you could ask Noisymunk.

Ah well, I've no particular faction loyalty, especially with the new races essentially evening out the morphic differences in the two, but the idea of faction swapping 4 characters is a non-starter. I wish they'd just crush lolore and let me play both sides AND mail inventory between both sides. This would solve my problem nicely, but alas, until that day I will be forced to hunt you all in Tol Barad out of jealousy, frustration, and loneliness.

If someone that hasn't transferred to Draenor yet, but is planning to transfer very soon, were to be getting a gem cut, what would you suggest? I.e. is anything under-made? I imagine the Bolds and whatnot are saturated, but still in demand...

The gem market on Draenor is much like all other servers: a million people playing the same market, so much so that if your gems don't sell in maybe an hour or so, they're probably not going to because they've been undercut 40 or more times. I'm exaggerating a bit here, but it takes quite a bit of patience to make gold in JC right now.
And I agree with Kreutz, as far as I'm concerned dual gathering professions are always the way to go when leveling. Makes gold hand over fist, while also getting you lots of xp along the way.

And I agree with Kreutz, as far as I'm concerned dual gathering professions are always the way to go when leveling. Makes gold hand over fist, while also getting you lots of xp along the way.
Except for death knights who would have to waste a whole bunch of time getting those gathering professions up to the level they need to be to gather anything from the zones they're leveling in.

I'm pretty sure the XP for gathering nodes is dependent on the player level and the difficulty of the node, not the zone level. in other words, he's getting the same XPs for an orange node if it's in Elwynn Forest or Howling Fjord.
