I'd say Curtains Down is probably easier for accidents.
Though once I realized the human shield knockout was basically the same as the syringe, it made taking out his guard much easier. It was really tough to syringe the guy, drag him into the bedroom, and then shut the door before Vinnie came back out. Taking him as a shield, walking him into the bedroom, and then knocking him out was much easier.

Curtains Down is easier because it is scripted to have the one "right" way and no other way is really that effective. New Life or Flatline or something is cooler because there is actually some choice about how you go about making the kills.
Although A New Life is an excellent level for any sort of experimental hijinx.
Or, my favorite, just shooting up that FBI van from the starting point and watching the suspicion bar spike yellow and then quickly creep back down to empty.
I want to dress up as the pool boy and just punch everyone to death.

I just signed up because I saw this thread. I still have to go back and read the entire 41 pages worth, but I have to say that I've had this game for quite a while now and it's a love hate relationship for me. I LOVE the concept of the game, but I can not for the life of me beat the Silence of the crows level. Maybe I'm just retarded but I CANNOT complete it for the life of me.
knock them out with the donuts and drop them in the pool
Wait, does that actually count as an accidental death?
I've always wondered what would happen if I knocked out the wife in the small indoor pool and left her there. Does she die immediately, or does it take a while?

Just finished flatline and new life on expert and was POSITIVE I SA'd both - but ended up getting professional and specialist. I'd love that list because I have no idea what I did wrong. I know I somehow got one witness on flatline (can they see you inject smith if the door is closed to his cell? That may have been when) and new life I have no idea. Poisoned the target and the 2 FBI agents in the van and sabotoged the grill...

professional seems to happen if a non-accident'd body is found
it's the most common case, at least
edit: and yeah, door windows are see-through
this game is really good about keeping visibility consistent, for the most part

You poisoned the FBI? That's why you didn't get silent assassin then.

Yeah, in general to get SA you can only have one person die that isn't a target. There's also a limit, I think, on the number of fired shots that don't hit someone.
Anyone notice how some things (mattresses and the copy machines in Highrise) are totally impenetrable? A steel wall, yeah that makes sense, but bullets should obliterate copy machines.
I don't know about you, but I always buy a bullet proof printer. Its a lot more expensive, but I think the advantages are apparent.
In earlier games, I think you might have gotten one "freebie" per target. Definitely not in Blood Money though, I made the same mistake my last time clearing "The Curtain Falls".
In Contracts, you were allowed to have 1 enemy (such as a body guard of the target, and not a civilian or a police officer) killed for SA. Not sure about shots fired, though.
How the hell do I get SA on New Life? Just did it again and only killed the target (mine in the computer) and still pro...
how to get SA in A New Life in less than 4 minutes:
When the level starts, RUN to the catering truck. Wait for the agent behind you to turn his back. Sedate the donuts. Open the back doors of the van. Drop the donuts. Wait a tick. Go into the van and steal an agent's suit. RUN into the house, take the doors in front of you, then take the doors to the right. Follow the hall left, then right, and go into the bathroom. If you're on time so far, Sinistra's wife should be fixing herself up in there. Wait for her to turn her back and take a few steps towards the door, then sedate her with the syringe. Drag her into the bathroom and take her necklace.
Done? Okay, that's the hard part.
Go outside again. To the left of the entrance there's a utility box. Make sure no one's around to see you (particularly the caterer or the clown) and yank the fuse. Sinistra's TV will go out and his bodyguard will leave to check the box. As soon as you pull the fuse, RUN inside, make sure the agent's left the TV room, and garrote Sinistra in his chair. RUN to the van, get your suit, and run out.

Oh hey 15 people fell off the balcony
wait 20 down the stairs
hold on everybody else drowned in the jacuzzi
Also, my entire modus operandi for this is going to be knocking people out and throwing them off high places or into water.
Even better, throwing them all off the same high place or into the same body of water.
Ah, I see. Was thinking accident all the targets. That would be tough to do on any level.

In the Hitman universe, the right to bear arms has a very, very specific function.
Where is the option to change to Pal - 50, because I certainly can't see it in the system settings

Can you drag bodies upstairs? You might could also throw them over the railing. Or does the trash compactor count as an accident?

hiding people in places that kill them count as normal kills

DONE. No bodies found, no witnesses. SA.
garrotting in time-critical situations like that where the guard is due back any second takes expert timing, just cut out the middle man and cap him
yeah, you're probably right
i've gotten the idea that SA runs ought to be bloodless, though, except for two obvious missions
