    A nice thing happened to me about a little while ago. On a particular night during my uni semester I had a choice: I could either do the work I was supposed to do for the tutorial the next day, or I could go to the launch for Lord of the Rings on blu-ray. So, after making the obvious choice (I went to the screening) I turned up to my tutorial without anything to show. The tutor starts going through students individually, checking their homework, and I'm sitting there wondering what I'm going to say. Eventually he gets to me, and without a good excuse, I don't have much option but to tell the truth. He nods: 'you made the right choice.' And just then is when I notice the replica of the One Ring fitted on his ring finger.

    Best tutor ever.

    I should be going to a pool party today!

    But it will probably be cold.

    But I'm leaving for Summer Break on Saturday!

    But I still have a lot of work and packing to do, and I'll have to pay 25 bucks just to check in my luggage.

    I learned a cool new word today!

    But I'll probably forget it completely and even if I don't there isn't any situation I can use it in without seeming pretentious.

    I'm going to New York in June!
