It's horrible.
What spring does with the cherry trees.
also I want to start reading the Runaways.
Need some stuff designed or printed? I can help with that.
Runaways is awesome
but you should probably just read the BKV stuff

goddamn
whedon's is decent, especially all collected
stop there though
stop
there
but he's the beeeeest of both worlds
The concept of the Hyena was pretty brilliant.
I don't remember if it played out that well, but whoever thought of it first gets a thumbs up.
i hope the weather is nice tomorrow, getting a bunch of free comics and reading them in the park is becoming a spring tradition
I was about to be stunned that there was a lostwords thread without anything gay in it
And then this

okay if dark claw is the best hero then carnage is the best villain
and marrow is the best...
i can't do it
all told i never fancied lines in comic book shops though so it's not a big pastime for me
I picked up all 9 collected volumes in the little manga sized books. Each one is like 6 standard issues for $12 or so. You can find them at Barnes & Noble in the (blegh) teen section, not over by the comics or manga which would make too much sense. Just look for the twilight merchandise and you're close. Otherwise you might get lucky and find a couple at your local shop.
I have to say though, all of volume 9 was pretty forgettable, Ramos' style is very hit or miss (often on the same page). Whedon's run was pretty good though (volume 8).
Immonen's run is bad though, which is a shame because her Hellcat mini ruled
hey satan...: thinkgeek amazon My post |
maybe i'll shoot over after. there probably won't be any comics left, though!

How do the free comics work? Do you just pick one, or do they randomly do it?
Twitter Steam
some stores let you just grab them
some require a purchase of $x to grab y amount of comics
And I might have been up all night drinking and enjoying amphetamine salts
But I am totally headed to ye olde comic shoppe now!
Did you remember to bathe? because that is far more important than brakes. Did you also remember to wear clean underware because if you get into a accident dirty underware would be somewhat embarrassing
I do want to go to a certain comic shop but it's a 30 minute drive compared to the one near the house which I dislike going to
I know I was not going to get the two I was after because I never have seen any of their comics offered in the area
http://www.comicsunlimited.com/
looks like there will be a line
I've never read an actual comic book that wasn't a trade paperback or a graphic novel so I have no idea what to get
yes! that was rad, although i didn't meet any cool folks i did manage to get a couple issues of locke & key along w/ the tick, conan, 100 bullets and some other stuff. the kids there made waiting in line way easier, tiny batman and a little jedi wearing a leather jacket were adorable.
