Currently chugging along to the anniversary of my great grandmother getting called to glory and though of this one. Especially since when I drove by her old apartment, I zoned out and blew through several intersections. If I had gotten pulled over,I would have asked for a hug. :(

Oh man, finding this thread at 1am , sniffle.

and glad someone else beat me to we3, I have trouble even posting that.
Music's always been a big one for me, I did a lot of travelling in my early 20's trying to find family, so music was my comfort.

For a video that's always welled me up a little.

( free hugs video was a close second too, but everyone's seen that)

For a song itself, this one has always stuck with me, me and my sister played an acoustic version at my dad's funeral, took us about twice the normal time, cause we'd keep breaking down.

And can't find a good clip of it, but the ending of Into The Wild gets me,
Those last scenes as he's dying in the bus , oh man!

anyway's I'm up and in nostalgia/teary mode so keep it coming !

I found my two female gerbils dead today, spooning, in their cage. No outward signs of injury.

It was one of the sadder things I've seen recently.

Basically I was asking why nobody had come in here just to say "Toy Story 3" yet, since the movie has been out for a few days now

    So I did that

There were several scenes that made me tear up, but the one that actually made the tears fall was
Woody in the bottom of the box

"That's my cowboy! There's a snake in mah boot!"

The girl reaches for him and Andy pulls him away, and they both look like they're going to cry

Then Andy gives the speech about how Woody will always be there for you

God damn Pixar thanks for making me feel feelings again

You know I was fine during that scene..:
I was holding back tears and doing fine after every single toy being shown and given away. Then they showed Jesse.. then Buzz...... and then Woody. Oh god he pulled Woody away from her D: . I wanted to just weep. I have seen it twice and I have cried twice. The movie just hits me that hard.

I hate to repeat what you said but this shit just made me bawl.

The film is also notable for being the ninth and final on-screen pairing of Tracy and Hepburn(Tracy died seventeen days after filming ended). In Tracy's final speech of the film, Hepburn's tears were real—they both knew that this would be the last line of his last film, that he had not[ 2] much longer to live. Hepburn never saw the completed film;[ 2] she said the memories of Tracy much longer to live. Hepburn never saw the completed film she said the memories of Tracy[ 3] were too painful. The film was released in December 1967, six months after his death.

I learnes this a short time ago and it makes it seem so much more harass and sweet. Here's to going out on top, ;)

So I just finished watching the entirity of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood on Hulu (don't judge me) and everything about it was a big wet blanket of depression.

You're like 5 episodes in when
Hughes dies and leaves you a massive blubbering mess

    Then situations keep happening where
someone cute and awesome dies in order to show how powerless they are in terms of preventing death

    Then somewhere near the end
EVERYONE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD DIES
Which is swiftly remedied in the first 5 minutes of the next episode, but still

    I sell vacuum cleaners door-to-door.

This one lady had pictures of her two kids all over the place, but there was only one kid there. There was also a picture of the absent kid on her t-shirt, which I though was odd. All of this other kid's pictures were also off-color for some reason.

Then I noticed a picture of the two kids cuddling, and realized it wasn't the pictures, the other kid was just purple...for some reason...

This woman had turned her an entire home into an altar dedicated to her "angel baby".

Another time I was demoing a widower.

After comparing our product to what he was currently using, I asked him which he'd rather use next time he was going to do the vacuuming.

He paused looked away and, sobbing, responded "my wife".

It's funny what will set people off some times.
